Booking Fortqueen was a really good decision. The rooms are nice, well kept and very clean, the staff is very warm and welcoming and goes out of their way to help you, the reception guys were well mannered and check-in was prompt. The room service was great and food tasted really good. The hotel is located a 5 minute drive from the beach and a short drive to all the major sightseeing points. I had booked Fortqueen after reading reviews on trip advisor about it and like always I was never disappointed. I would come back to this hotel and would recommend it to my friends and my colleagues. Overall stay very good.

Its been 2 years since our last visit here, and we are still delighted with this friendly welcoming top quality hotel.
We treated ourselves this time to the Executive Suite Room instead of the usual excellent Deluxe [standard]room, after an agonizing 15 hour overnight train trip down from Goa.
Were we in for a treat.
We entered in to a large lounge room with table and chairs, several matching sofas, refrigerator, flat screen TV and heaps of satellite channels in English.
Attached to the lounge was a small workable kitchenette with sink and microwave."so now I can cook up some of the wonderfull fresh caught prawns on offer at the fishing nets, grab some plonk from the grotty govt owned liquor shop a walk away, add some garlic and butter to the prawns, and bon appetite!
The bedroom and bathroom area was the same efficient configuration as most of the other rooms, but also had another flat screen above the bed.The 2 air con units were silent and efficient and easily adjusted to suit. There was plenty of hot water, and toiletries were provided along with the complimentary indian style breakfast in the dining room.
Rooms are serviced daily
Room service was prompt, the food menu interesting and varied, and ice and mixers can be ordered for us boozers in the room
.The foyer has a newspaper rack of local papers, and bicycle and helmets are available for guests.
The hotel has several bars from local style to tourist style.
Imediatley outside the hotel is a ATM,also a Pastry/cake shop a few metres away,and a liquor/wine shop 30 or so metres away.
Small shops are plentifull for mixers and snacks and toiletries and groceries, and a small superette is say 100 metres away,
An auto/tuktuk stand is on the corner and for Rupee 300 you can have a 3 hours deal to tour all the local sights on Fort Kochi. Max 3 pax will fit in a Auto.

Room Tip: Check the hotel sites like cleartrip.com,to grab a good rate, although the reception will negotiate a...

I recently spent 2 weeks in the hotel with my partner. We really enjoyed our stay. The main asset of this hotel is its staff. From the general manager right down to the room cleaners, all the staff are friendly, honest and helpful and go out of their way to assist.
The rooms while not luxurious are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfasts, Western or Indian style. There is a buffet lunch every day if you would like to sample Indian dishes. Or room service is excellent with a wide choice of good food. Pineapple juices and milk shakes are delicious!
All in all a very good place to stay-quiet-away from the noise of the fort but close enough to the (great!) shopping by auto rickshaw.

Room Tip: There are larger rooms with separate lounge

We stayed in this hotel for a night and it was a wonderful experience. The property is very well maintained and exquisitely clean and comfortable. Staff is very prompt, professional and friendly. Check in and checkout is very smooth and hassle free, In addition, the breakfast was amazing. With an ample choice of local and international food, enjoyed the momentary sense of happiness even during the busiest morning hours

Overall, I really satisfied with this hotel and would like to recommend.
