Fort Queen Is a comfortable family run hotel about 5 kilometres from Fort Cochin. It has a welcoming reception with very friendly and informative staff. The rooms are nicely furnished with a fridge - essential for the wonderful hot weather. There is an adjoining Chinese restaurant which I did not visit. My only disappointment was that they did not have Wi Fi in the guest rooms only in reception. highly recommended.

Room Tip: Not facing the main road.

Fort Queen is 2 Km away from the Beach and is amazingly nice hotel with great service. Don't forget to meet their Executive Chef Binu. He personally looks after your food preferences and is very Courteous. He made my stay really enjoyable. I wish Chef Binu & Fort Queen all the very best.

We had looked at the hotel's web site and intended to book for a weekend. On arrival, discovered the hotel is nowhere near the Fort or Kochin's nice parts. It's on the main road and the locals enjoy the hidden ground floor bar. Before check-in we decided to head to their buffet lunch. We were told where to sit, then this was changed, the buffet was mostly cold reheated food; then a power failure made the room very uncomfortable (no back up power obvious). No one had said welcome or was particularly helpful, and the property's picture on its website is a testament to digital enhancement. Time for a quality check.

Room Tip: Any one looking for cookie cutter poor service, head this way.

The hotel has genuine interest to satisfy the customers. While the room was spacious we could not get WiFi in our room. It was available only at the lobby. There was just one plug point and a modern traveller needs more.
The location was very good as the places of tourist attraction are not far off.
We found that the food menu was over priced. For vegetarians, the choice were only a few. The breakfast was good and tasty.
In the morning, we could not get hot water in the shower. Also the shower nozzles were not proper.
The staff were courteous and helpful. The general manager Mr. Kuruvilla talks to individual customers to get their feedback.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with good bathroom fittings and push for hot water in the shower.

This was the 7th hotel we had stayed in KERALA; we had stayed in a range from large hotel to boutique and from really nice to horrible, so while I had previously been very excited to stay here. It truly became home for the short couple of days that we were there. The staff and service at the hotel are its strength. As soon as you arrive, you are greeted with a drink and warm smiles. Their GM is personally involved in the minutest details of guests comfort from your arrival and until your check out. The location is good, near to the mail sightseeing points and the staff can help you get anywhere you want to go. (Especially the Front Desk & Housekeeping). Great food. Tasty and freshly made and absolutely satisfying

Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you are going to be in FORTCOCHIN. Will go back as soon as I get the chance to.

Booking Fortqueen was a really good decision. The rooms are nice, well kept and very clean, the staff is very warm and welcoming and goes out of their way to help you, the reception guys were well mannered and check-in was prompt. The room service was great and food tasted really good. The hotel is located a 5 minute drive from the beach and a short drive to all the major sightseeing points. I had booked Fortqueen after reading reviews on trip advisor about it and like always I was never disappointed. I would come back to this hotel and would recommend it to my friends and my colleagues. Overall stay very good.
