Mayapott Plantation Villa

Great location, amongst such dense greenery. The staff at Mayapott was exceptional in taking care of us. The dinners were good, the food genuine and service excellent.
However, place lacked a little in activities though the staff took our suggestions for adding some activities seriously.

Dear Madam,

Namaste!

Thank you very much indeed for the candid words of appreciation about Mayapott and its team. Your words have indeed added value to our credibility, with regards to your suggestions for activities we have added a number of board games for the indoor activities, couple of bikes would be also added soon, that would become one among the interesting activities that our guest would enjoy during their romance with nature at Mayapott. Once again thank very much and looking forward to see you again.

During my several years of travel around the world the experience that me and my wife had at Mayapott Plantation Villa was unique! It was truly a mystical experience! The beauty and charm of the house, the surroundings, the sound of the wild stream, strength of the rock on which the house is built; everything evokes both curiosity and several magical moments. I still have fresh memories of the time that we had at the fire place and several walks that we had in the calm plantation trails under the thick shades of tall trees.

The food was more local as we liked it, the chef and his team gave several surprises each day! The juices and salads were great indeed!

They had all basic facilities that a five star can offer, and equally matching services, including a small spa room. We just loved the entire experience, and would certainly like to visit again. I recommend Mayapott Plantation villa to all those who seek some privacy, peace and nature! It is worth the money spent!

Room Tip: the villa suite is beautifully done and has a large living room too; you could hear the sound the st...

Mayapott experience is worth sharing, as I have enjoyed every minute of my stay. I was searching for places to stay in Periyar during 7 nights tour of Kerala and Madurai. I have travelled from Madurai to Mayapott after visiting the famous temple. It took roughly three and hours from Madurai to reach. The journey was very enriching also. Once I entered the Kerala boarder I was inspired by the natural wealth, flora and fauna.

I had booked a plantation studio at Mayapott. It was well very well furnished room with ethnic decore and natural beauty around. The amenities were very special as they were more to do with herbal and natural products. The food was predominantly Kerala homely food and some very well prepared steaks and yummy salads. The fresh organic passion for the breakfast had unique taste. I enjoyed the morning walks among the green plantation trails. Altogether the experience was worth remembering, I reccomend this exotic plantation villa to everyone who love a relaxed stay close to nature, it is special for honey moon couples as my wife was suggesting.

Dear Mr. Phil,

Thank you very much for your valuable feedbacks. Your personal and detailed comments have made an impact on the moral of our team. The positive feedbacks about food has really motivated the chef too as he is very passionate about his grandma recipes. As you have mentioned we hope that more honey moon travelers would appreciate the serene and private ambiance of Mayapott. We look forward to see you again.
