Such a great ambiance of the beach and hospitality of the resort blended together to give remarkable days spent at Samsara Harmony. No other place offer you such a feel of being by the beach.. The stay at the resort is very comfortable with good facilities... I would definitely recommend the stay here..

We were very lucky to stay in Samsara this March thanks to tripadvisor. It is really a very comfortable and peaceful place just near the ocean and in 15-20 min pleasant walk to the main beach. We had a very clean room with A/C. The pool is small but we used it every morning. We liked this hotel and would like to return.

After touring New Delhi, Jaipur and Kerala we ended with a very relaxing stay at the Samsara Harmony for 4 nights before returning to the UK. What better way to start your day with freshly blended pineapple juice whilst overlooking the Arabian Sea listening to the chanting and singing of the local fishermen pulling in their nets! We had a spotlessly clean large comfortable room and bathroom with a terrace/balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The air conditioning unit was quiet and efficient as was the large fridge - perfect for cooling drinks and not a silly mini bar size! A local fisherman brought his catch of red snapper one day which we had for supper that evening - delicious done in the tandoor!

By choice, we were away from the main drag of Varkala beach with its hustle and bustle of shops and restaurants. It took us 30 minutes to walk along the cliff but we also took an auto rickshaw if feeling less energetic! Our hosts and owners (who live elsewhere) were staying too so we were fortunate enough to share a beer or two with them and put the world to rights...........salud Jesus and Girija!!

The staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome - nothing was too much trouble. Salim is a star and he even shinned up a palm so we could drink fresh coconut juice through a straw straight from the fruit - doesn't get much better than that! Mr Noushad and Pradeep always available but never obtrusive. Thank you to you all for making us feel so welcome!

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our 2 week trip to Southern India. It is a great place just to chill out and the pool is a real bonus.
Comfortable and spacious rooms, we had one overlooking the sea and could listen to the sound of the waves crashing every night.
Restaurant food and service very good, including breakfast. Nepalese waiter is a real star - keep up the good work.
The sea currents were too strong for me to swim in so the pool was great.
We would get a tuk tuk into Varkala beach and then walk back to the resort all along the cliffs, this was a great way to relax and to do some dolphin spotting.
Staff were friendly and always happy to help with queries or advice.
I would highly recommend this resort to others.

We were 3 weeks in Samsara for the New Year 2014. This is the best hotel in Varkala. Excellent management team, a very good restaurant. It is desirable to make the Internet better. But everything else was very good.

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice.

I enjoyed the great pool, spacious and clean room, access to the beach, friendly and willing staff, and would recommend it highly.
The secluded beach offers something special away from the busy beaches of varkala.

We came for a week and stayed 3! In our 3 months in India this was the best value and easiest place we stayed. It had most things really we wanted, large room for the kids, kitchenette, large safe balcony area, pool, relaxing vibe. We didn't find any other hotels in Varkala with a pool and next to the ocean and at a reasonable price.

We were very well looked after by Pradeep and Premod, who looked after our two kids each day while we went bike rides up to Kappil beach. The nearest village, Edava, is great and has some good local vegetable stalls. There are also half a dozen easy and cheap beach restaurants on the way to north cliff

The resort is a good 20mins walk to the main strip of restaurants on north cliff, or a 100INR tuk tuk. Which actually worked out well because the cliff is ok for dinner for a few nights but there are quite a few touts and after a while we stopped going.

We had the vegetable curry a number of times and it was excellent and around 120INR. By indian standards, the regular room cleaning and housekeeping was very good. Indeed Predeep would go out on his bike to get anything for us, I particularly enjoyed the fresh breakfast of fruits and porridge on the balcony looking over the pool.

We were there in November and it was very quiet, but towards the end people started to appear, as did
