Actually we booked the room in hotel India, but were offered to stay in hotel Eurostar Inn, so this is a review of that hotel (Hotel India has no AC rooms, Eurostar Inn has got AC rooms, this is why we chose to stay there).Communication with the manager before arrival was smooth and good. Helpful personnel, good restaurant with reasonable prices, close to the Western Temples (10-15 minutes walk). Hotel India is even closer, but it is an older building. The hotel is set in a rather unusual ambiance next to a petrol station, but the other budget hotels will not be any better, although we did see rooftops with sunset view. The hotel inside is very different and rather nice.
From the cons:
There were dead bugs (crickets) all over the corridor, but it might be a curse to the hotel as well :) Services offered at the hotel were a bit overpriced (sightseeing). I guess you can arrange it for yourself for half the price or even less by stopping a rikshaw just outside the hotel in the street.
