Large hotel with renovated lobby and lounge area. Room was spacious and somewhat clean. Wifi price was very steep to other hotels we stayed in India and the connectivity was very unstable. Bathroom was usable, but note that hot water is past 5:30 am and is still warm at that point. Overall a disappointing stay.

This is like any 3 star hotel. Hotel and rooms are pretty clean and spacious. Staff helpful.
Bargain on the prices and if you manage to get a good bargain, go ahead and stay.
Though it is a bit away from the main center of the city, but most of the hotels are situated in the same line and Khajuraho is a small city thus can be easily managed.

The bad first -
1. Given that we were driving to Khajuraho from Delhi, we reached much later than anticipated. Got lost in Khajuraho - its tiny yet extremely confusing at 3 AM as there wasnt a soul nearby to help with directions - tried calling the hotel for close to 3 hours only to get no response whatsoever. Finally reached at 5 AM and was told by the receptionist that he had gone out for a few mins.
2. Spacious bathroom but fittings were old and in need of desperate repair.
3. Geyser was not working.

The ordinary -
1. The location - not in the heart of the city, but not too far either.
2. Food - breakfast was good but nothing spectacular.

Now, the good -
1. Rooms was very spacious and opened out into the lawn - was pleasantly surprised by that and the swimming pool was right across thew lawn.
2. When we checked in @5 AM, we requested that our checkout time be extended, which they agreed to without any fuss.
3. We woke up late and missed breakfast, but were served in our room, which was an unexpected and much appreciated gesture.
4. Although the geyser was not working but hot water was delivered promptly up on request.

Room Tip: If you are a fan of rooms that open out into a garden with a view of the pool, request for such a ro...

The most depressing place ever. Stayed for 2 nights. Never will go back.

Both our rooms on the second floor where dirty and smelly. Both smelled like mould. Both were damp and cold. The "A/C" did not work - that was just a fan in the wall, very dirty and dusty from inside, so when you turn it on, the room starts smelling like dust on top of dampness and mould.

We've requested heaters, which we had to work all day and night to warm and dry the room somewhat - I've slept in my clothing on top of the bed, as the bed itself was damp and nothing can get it out. The balcony door could not be closed tightly, therefore we've been constantly loosing heat...
There were a number of power plugs in the room, but only 2 worked: the one which had TV and the other one the heater. Therefore we had to choose between watching TV or charging our phones, as there was no way we would unplug the heater.

The hotel itself is a sad place - cold and abandoned. No-one was meeting us at the door when we arrived.
The lounge upstairs was unattended. The Billiard table in the Lounge was tiny, with ripped and burned field-cloth.. and guess want? The hotel is charging guests to play pool 100 rupees/hr. For what?!!!! The rip next to the corner hole was like 10 inches!

No WiFi available. Internet is only through the business center.

OUTRAGEOUS: Originally when we've booked this place about 2 months back, we've been promised a Safari at the nearest Panna National Park by the management. Frankly, this was the sole reason for us to stay there for 2 nights - to spend one of the days at the Park doing the Safari. I had an email from the manager confirming our Safari booking. However when we checked-in and tried to confirm our next-day safari arrangement, the manager Patel was looking at my paper as he is seeing it for the first time, although it was his name on it. Yes, he tried to call and arrange the car for us, but failed - no cars were available to take us to have our promised safari next day and we've been stuck at the place with nothing to do. We've had the Khajuraho temples tour the previous day, and there is literally nothing else to do there. The management response was simply "Sorry, the Safari won't happen". OUTRAGEOUS!!!
----

The only bight spot on the whole scene was the hotel Restaurant. HUGE THANK YOU to the restaurant manager, you've saved our sanity! The food was good and not expensive. The room service menu was limited, but we've been able to order from the regular restaurant menu for the delivery upstairs. Also, they have arranged the Best Breakfast Boxes ever (for our departure at 5:00am) - so much they've put in each one: 2 bananas, 2 boiled eggs, 2 cheese sandwiches, muffin, juice, a bag of chips. Frankly, even 5 star hotels in Canada put less in their breakfast boxes. Thank you again!

Room Tip: check you rooms before you check-in for dampness and mould.

Khajuraho has a lot of hotels, good ones and bad ones and I think we chose one of the latter . It's lobby may look nice but the rooms are basic, not very clean, however the view to the pool area relaxing. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise and so was its location (no more than a 15 min walk to the village and the western temples).

Never stayed before in such a crap hotel.rooms are dated. Feels like some old hawaili.algae and moist in the balconies, strange smell in the room and rats in the ac vent. That's all I got in a deluxe room.for Khajuraho I will advise only 5 star hotels.
