We stayed there for a weekend. The hotel had the feeling that it had seen some good year. It looks really grand in pics...its huge but there's no grandeur as such Its interior and designing are pretty old and just necessary. Though i will have to add that our room was clean and comfortable, and we were with a toddler, so our frequent request for boiled water was regularly and ungrudgingly met. The food was OK. One of the major reason for stay was that we got a great deal from booking.com. We in fact were bit confused between this and WelcomHotel (surprise! surprise! they're poles apart :P)... The gorgeous photos of the hotel and the deal did us in.
Though i might add that if you are long for a clean and budget friendly hotel stay, u can choose this.

Room Tip: This hotel is closest to airport but really farthest from the caves.

AGC Hotel looks like a 'used-to-be'... the building is nicely designed, the rooms very spacious, with adjoining personal balconies... but it looks old and rooms could do with some 'polishing up'. The club has a nice-looking swimming pool and several other amenities (all of which come at additional cost). The bathrooms could use some changes ... no handshowers, the hot water takes a while to come through the pipes and the shower curtain may as well not be there. The hotel's location is convenient and their travel desk contact Habib was very courteous and professional. The restaurant serves only vegetarian food but very tasty and fair-priced. Must try the kabab platter - definitely value for money! The complimentary breakfast is sufficiently wholesome - cornflakes, poha (cooked flattened rice), a South Indian dish like upma or idli, tea, coffee and juice. Overall service was great.

The place was very nice and the room was quite spacious. The bathrooms were clean but didn't have a shower enclosure and water was all over the place when someone took a bath. It's 5min from the airport and works great for early morning flights. Food in the restaurant was expensive.

Hotel is on the Jalna road, which connect Aurangabad to Nagpur. Opposite to hotel is Mukundwadi, a vegetable market. Hotel is nice and ok. You will not get variants in complementary breakfast. For stay purposes its a good hotel. Prozone mall is about 1.5 km from hotel.

Checked in this hotel after going through the reviews but wasn't ready for what I experienced. We had booked 5 rooms..all cols. The first thing that we saw as soon as we entered the rooms was that they had 2 single beds and not the standard kingsize beds which we usually get in a double room. Spoke to the reception who said that he will revert back within 5 mins. 20 mins later, when I myself went to him at the ground floor reception in the sloooooooow iron grill (the only) elevator, he asked me sir how can I help you!!!!!!!!!! He had forgotten. Upon asking, he excused saying that no kingsize bed rooms are available. Okay, we accepted. Next, in 4 out of 5 rooms, one or the other lights were not working. We were told that there is some maintenance work going on. Okay again.

We all went out for dinner after seeing that room service tariffs were very much on the high side and there was absolutely no point in spending on food there when there are restaurants close by.

Next morning when I got up and thought of ordering some tea, I was shocked to see that a cup of tea cost Rs 75/-. Now this was something that was getting on to my nerves. All the more since our rooms had no breakfast option and I had no option but to order the tea in. Add 75/- per cuppa for 10 people and that makes it a neat 750/- just for a single cup of tea for us. after tea, I went to reception and spoke to Mr Tanveer at reception, who stood up for the hotel and debated with me to prove that 75/- per cup is nothing for a 4 star hotel!!!!!! a 4 star hotel????? If this is 4 star then what is Lemontree??? No point debating with these guys. Who will tell him that star hotel which charges 100-200/- for tea also has tea/coffee making facility in the rooms with unlimited sachets. Alas, Mr Tanveer won't listen.

Now coming to the room. The rooms are spacious and thats the only saving grace (along with good sporting facilities and a huge swimming pool). Mattresses are wafer thin. Showers are as if someone is spraying with 5-6 injection syringes. TV cable reception is bad and kept coming on and off.

Overall not a very satisfactory experience....would rather spend some more money and stick to Lemontree where we stayed last year.
