I stayed at this hotel during my business visit to Bhubaneswar recently. The biggest positive about this property is that its very centrally located. The hotel rooms are very spacious and well-lit. The staff is really courteous. Food is good too. I enjoyed my stay here.

We stayed in this hotel in November 2013. WE had booked two rooms.
The service at the reception was a bit slow but no problem with that.

The rooms were large but absolutely dingy. No windows. Stale smell. We asked for any other rooms, but were told that all the rooms were similar. I wonder how can a hotel charging INR 2500 offer rooms to its guests without any views/natural light.

The other thing that was improper was that our rooms had a fixed glass window opening into the bathroom. Sicne this was a twin room (two single beds); thus assuming that such a room might be for business traveller, I fail to understand the need for such a layout.

Room Tip: Not recommended.

I got this one at a very special rate of 3500 per room night with complimentary breakfast. Rack rate is much higher at 6000 per room night ( single occupancy). Lady at reception escorted me right upto my room explained amenities and then left. Room was big. Interiors average. Breakfast was delivered to my room on order but it was cold. There was tea maker in room and two complimentary bottles of water. The next day I had a breakfast in Restaurant on third floor. The choice was limited. The cut fruits were dipped in some suger syrup. The staff was extremly courteous though. They did offer south Indian dishes but could not manage the taste and preparations. Dinner in second floor restaurant was good. The preparations were perfect. Service again was prompt. I heard other guests complimenting about Non Veg food preparations. The check out was smooth but took bit longer. Overall an average experience but may be this is the best you can get in this part of world.

Room Tip: This is EAST India, Sun rises early. So before going to bed at night remember to draw curtains else...

Rooms are spacious but one I stayed had a window looking down to a small Mall. Naturally, no chance of fresh air. Breakfast served is OK if you are vegetarian. No choices for non vegetarians. Staff are very courteous. Three restaurants are plus points.

Room Tip: Take south side rooms with real windows.

Me & Wife stayed in this hotel for one night in 1st week of Dec 2013. Rooms are specious and nice. its centrally located. However we had two bad experiences (a) The AC was too cold as the temperature control does not work. We had to switch off the AC to get a sleep. (b) The card used for opening the room was cracked in the center when we received it. This card broke the next day and we were told to pay for it. I failed to understand why a cracked card was given to us. It looks that the management does not know these details and there is no system in place for feed back from customer. Overall, the stay was just OK. Would advice other travelers to check every detail minutely so that you dont land up paying for defects in the room or its fittings, including the plastic card used for opening the door.

Room Tip: Check all fittings and those you are going to use. Defects must be brought out before accepting the...

Clean spacious rooms with clean attached toilets and baths. Clean circulation area and responsive staff. When I checked-in, there were basic items like tea, coffee, sugar missing next to the tea-maker but they responded immediately and brought supplies. Only the airconditioning unit in the room was a little noisy. Lobby looks a little tired and entrance to the hotel is not impressive. Restaurants a little confusing in terms of location and over priced. Variety/spread at Breakfast buffet formidable but taste of food very disappointing. Even the dosas, idlis, vadas and chutneys served were tasteless !

Over all since the room was comfortable and at booking I had got a discount, I felt that the hotel offered good value for money. I had to eat out.

Room Tip: I stayed on the 4th. floor. The room did not have a great view and the glass windows were unclean bu...
