The hotel rooms are quite average and it makes u feel sad. Same is with the bathroom but the good part is that the rooms and bathrooms are kept clean. Some renovation or a facelift could really make this hotel very good. The location of the hotel is the best part about the hotel. It is locate at Janpath and is about 500 meters away from the railway station. The food is good but dont miss the arya special soup if you are here. :) The restaurant is very well maintained (better than the hotel). We are now getting a much much better hotel in Bhubaneswar at about the same fare (about 20% higher) but very good rooms and a swimming pool so we have stopped staying here for our business trips. Improving the rooms can make this hotel better!

Room Tip: Choose the hotel if you are fussy about the location it is providing else there are better hotels.

Stayed for a night as part of my Orissa tour package. Feels like a very old property. The main wooden door had a large crack and the room was also quite crammed for a double bed room. Surprisingly ,the washroom was XXL in proportion to the room size. Breakfast tasted good but the complementary buffet was purely vegetarian. Again surprising since the a-la-carte menu features a lot of non vegetarian items. Service was OK. If you have the time , it is advisable to check out some other options before settling on this one.

Don't stay here. This hotel is unsanitary in every possible bit- everything starting with elevators, windows, curtains, walls is disgustingly dirty, which looks have not been cleaned for years. The linens are grey and stained, the bathroom stinks...worst possible motel in US is better then this. We checked in with my family but after 10 minutes decided to leave as it was unbearble, cockroach infested, worn out and filthy...not sure how others can ever rate it higher then terrible.

We decided to go to This place because of it's proximity to the railway station as we'd an early morning train next day. Though we checked the room before deciding to stay but ignored the overall cleanliness as we were there only for a night. The trouble began with the receptionist refusing to give back the balance amount from the advance, starting getting rude and disrespectful. He even cancelled my booking and threatened to not refund any money as we'd used the washroom ( btw which had a broken wc). On seeing such discourteous behaviour and threats i had call the cops, to which the front desk manager further threatened to falsely frame us for not providing identification proof. Later some sensible guy from the hotel management intervened and persuaded us to stay. The room was musty, dirty linen. Even for hot water you had to call someone to switch on the gyser from outside! We anyway avoided their food so can't say much. I think the place is not meant for families or anyone, specially when the hotel staff itself acts like goons. Dirty, dangerous (specially if you're from outside Orissa), highly avoidable.

I checked in for a night at this hotel. I must say, that although the staffs were very helpful, courteus, hospitable and rendered fast and efficient service; but the rooms were a bit shabby. Maybe it was just my room, but still that can be done with. Nevertheless, I had a good stay. The food was good in terms of quality and preparation. But i still feel that the rooms are a bit overpriced, given its condition. There are a lot many good hotels in this city that i have stayed in, so if i compare with them, then the rooms are a bit overpriced. Still, I would recommend this hotel for a short stay duration to my friends and family.

Room Tip: Go for the higher-priced rooms. They are a bit better.

We had a last minute change of plans and we arrived Bhubaneswar at 12 midnight. We were 5 adults and 3 kids, with no booking in advance. We checked into this hotel and the reception guy was happy enough to show us the room and even arrange for food so late.
Really appreciated his work. Although this place is quite old and rooms being dirty, we didn't mind as we only had to stay for one night.

We checked in for a night at arya palace. They showed us a couple of rooms which we did not take since it looked too shabby. The walls are shabby and have stains on them which look yuk. Finally we selected one room which looked cleaner in comparison.
Basically its an old Hotel. Not well maintained. So rooms and bathrooms don't look neat though they might have cleaned them.
Rooms have a damp smell. Curtains hardly reach end-end and there are lot of buildings nearby, so we landed up putting bath towels in the gaps.

Will not refer to friends or family.

Pros - Food was good.
