“Good, comfortable, honest place”
Reviewed 30 May 2014 via mobile

Stayed here for one night and used them for camel safari one night. Both experiences were satisfactory and enjoyable. The room was comfortable, the rates were reasonable, and the staff was very honest and friendly. Great place to stay in Jaiselmer!

I spend a couple of nights in that hotel, enjoyed every bit of it!

Staff is helpful (especially Nemo, the young cook), rooms are clean and with a bit of bargain you get a really good price ;-)
My personal highlight: COLD SHOWER - all throughout Rajasthan the showers I found were warm/hot, not the kind of thing you want in the hot desert...

Excellent food in the roof top restaurant with nice view on the city and fort. Perfect safari service. I higly reccommend this hotel. Thank you and hope to see you all again :-)

Room Tip: High floor rooms, because of their nice view from balcony

Nemo is a young cook but for his age he's already a great cook. Me and my boyfriend experienced lots of food throughout north india. So we can really reccomend to visit this restaurant where you can eat real rajastani food sitted cosily on carpets and coushions in friendly atmosphere!

We had a wonderful time at the Desert Anna Safari Hotel.
Everyone was really friendly and very helpful, giving calls for us to book our next hotels or simply get us a tuk-tuk at the best price.
And since it was low-season we even got upgraded to a bigger room, free of charge !
Nothing to complain about, really

Anna and the rest of the staff were very friendly, going above and beyond what i expect from a budget hotel. Room was clean and good value for money and hot shower was available on request from the wood fired water heater. The location is fairly central in town just a short walk away from the fort.

The upstairs restaurant, Blue's Cafe(currently #1 on trip advisor, and with good reason), is a nice place to sit, meet fellow travellers, listen to music (with a huge collection) with good views of the Jaisalmer fort. Om and the rest of his staff are very friendly, the food is good and over all a nice place to sit an relax. Om also has a great feel for which music to play according to the taste of his current customers.

We also booked a camel safari thru the hotel with Arya Tours and Travels (currently number one on trip advisor activities) for three days and two nights, which we thoroughly enjoyed, the food was good, our camel driver and guide Morad was also a great cook, amazing singer, Hindi teacher, cooking teacher and camel driving instructor. He and our other guide Babu went well above and beyond what i expected of them. In particular on our second night in the desert when a thick fog/light rain came in at about 4am they woke up and covered us up with their personal blankets and then spent the rest of the night huddled around a small fire while we slept.
