Had a great evening here. Staffs were too polite and nice. Very talented musicians and singers in the cultural show.
All the dunes were there we had for ourself no crowd whatsoever. Although sunrise was great but not a proper horizon.

Really had an amazing experience in the desert. The best thing about the trip was hospitality of the people. I
highly recommend Real desert man camel safari.
My friend and me booked a one night camel safari and it was just great. Well organised, the staff was super friendly and the camel are very well kept. First they took us in a jeep to an abandoned village which we could explore. After that the camel riding started. We were riding foe about 1,5 hours and it was really very nice. The route was very beautiful. We saw some wild camels and even a huge eagle. We arrived to the camp perfectly timed for the sunset. The camp itself was beautiful. Lying protected between sand dunes we slept under a beautiful starry night. The dinner was delicious and we had fresh fruits for breakfast. After breakfast we had another 40 minutes ride on the camels before we reached the jeep that took us back to Jaisalmer. Pokar and all the guides were really great and very caring.
Overall it was an unforgettable experience and I can recommend The Real Desert Man to anyone who wants to go to the desert.
We went for a short 3 night stay to Rajasthan, and staying in Jaisalmer for a night was easily the highlight of our travel. We were a group of 5 ranging from age 60 to age 2!
We booked a taxi from Jodhpur that took us straight to the Desert Camps in Jaisalmer. There were about 10 Swiss tents with basic amenities and attached washroom.
After a brief rest, we got out for the sunset camel safari. All of us were doing this for the first time and not sure what to expect. The staff was extremely courteous and made us comfortable. The camels were very mild mannered and the trip out to the dunes and watching sunset was a sublime experience. We got back to camps in an hour.
The evening entertainment was set up in a open area with lounge seating along the periphery. We were greeted by performers and offered tea and snacks. The rest of the evening was filled with poetry, music and dance performances that were truly mesmerizing. Some members of the entertainment team stood out from others and raised the bar. Buffet dinner provided was home cooked and very tasty.
We retired back to camps by 10pm and did some star gazing (another exceptional experience). Next morning we had a quick breakfast (simple and home made), and made our way to see rest of Jaisalmer.
If you are visiting Jaisalmer, I would highly recommend staying with this provider.
We did a two night camel safari with an excellent local guide named Abay. The first night we stayed on the dunes and slept under the stars which was an incredible experience. They try very hard to use locations a bit off the beaten track so we had the dunes all to ourselves which was great.
Our guide Abay was a very knowledgeable and experienced rider and prepared a delicious fresh meal on an open fire. The camp bed was actually very comfortable and we actually had a great night sleep under the stars.
On the second day we rode a few miles to a local village, where Abay introduced us to his family and their way of life which was a great experience. We then stopped for another delicious meal under the shade to avoid the midday sun. After a bit more camel riding we were then taken to our desert tent for the night which included an all you can eat Indian buffet which was perfect. The cultural dance and music show was also excellent.
Can’t reccommend the real desert man safaris enough. Was a real highlight of our trip to India.
It is really Real Desert Man Camel Safari. I cannot believe anyone would rate less than 5 stars and I am astounded at some of the negative comments from idiots who quite frankly didn't do their research and had no clue what a Elefantastic tour will involve. I will counter all of them.
Firstly, I booked this on email, with Sawai. I did my research to ensure it was an ethical place which was just not out make money of tourists as I am aware of the working conditions plight plight of the camels. The booking site clearly stated you will need to be of good physical health with no heart or back issues or be pregnant to complete this.
We had the most amazing day with Sawai & his camels. We visited with our three kids 8 & 12. Everyone were there basically couples and families with kids. Their staff are all really friendly.
We did loads of cool stuff with the camels but the highlight of the day without any doubt was when we all joined the camels safari during the sunset. It was so beautiful & peaceful. You could see how much they loved it. It was really obvious that the staff cared a lot for the camels, and in turn, the camels felt safe, happy and loved. Our family will never forget this amazing day.
