We liked having a look at the antiques in the unused bar area before our meal. The cocktails we tried were rather rough and I would suggest that beer, wine or a gin and tonic is probably better. We had the non-veg thalis and they were excellent. Very good spicing and flavours, not the bland stuff often served up to Westerners and kudos for them checking with diners what spicing level they prefer.
The terrace is dark so torches are needed, some are supplied by the staff. Everything was very clean and the service standard was high.
