The home is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are huge, showers are nice, and A/C is strong. The family speaks excellent English and is nice to talk with.
The food is very tasty and plentiful - but cost will add up if you eat all your meals there! You can have as many or as few meals there as you like. Tell them beforehand if you are vegetarian.

We helped set up some wifi, so it may be available now, but can't say for sure! They'll also let you use their computer if you need to access the internet (try not to look at the old black and white hunting photos in the computer room if seeing trophies of tigers and other endangered animals would bother you).
They will call you a good rickshaw driver to show you the sites so you don't have to deal with finding your own and getting ripped off.
After staying in a village homestay the night before, coming to Mohan Niwas was quite the change of scenery. If you want to embrace a couple days of upper-class Indian finery, it's a great choice.More
