While I rate our stay as average. We do so with certain qualifications. We stayed for three nights. We paid 3500 rupees per night for a very small double room with a bathroom across the hallway. We met Phil on arrival, a pleasant man,and introduced ourselves, but i have to say that over our stay we felt he needed to interact more with his guests, as there was a distance, unlike the other home stays we stayed in where interaction was the norm..Now while the staff , the breakfasts, the garden, and the rooftop were perfect, the small bedroom had no storage, the bed was hard, as were the pillows making it difficult to get a good nights sleep. In the bathroom there was nothing more than a drip of water out of our sink , and as for the shower, what was provided was totally inadequate. This consisted of a small hose pipe with two nozzles which you attached to two taps . Totally unacceptable, and not a proper functioning shower. I understand the same system was also in at least one of the suites at 4500 rupees per night . We believe if you charge this amount of money , then you must provide the appropriate facilities in every sense of the word. Wake up Phil.
