“Really nice view”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

The people working were really lovely and the view was amazing! In the off season the fort turns it's lights off around 9 p.m. We were still able to enjoy the city lights and a few fireworks. Next time we come we'll look into staying the the guest house. We were shown the room options and they were spacious, clean, and cheap!
Really nice!

“Delicious Rajasthani food!”
Reviewed 25 June 2014 via mobile

Don't be put off by the lack of tables or guests during this time as its off-season so they've packed away a bit of their furniture. All you need to do is sit down, ask the staff for their recommendations on a Rajasthan dish and you're set. The view of the city and the fort is possibly one of the best you could get. Excellent service, food and scenery! Highly recommended! Speak to the owner if you get the chance and find out about the history of this old building which has been owned by his family 350 years!

“Superb!!!!!”
Reviewed 21 April 2014 via mobile

We got inTo Johdpur pretty late and were worried about finding something to eat. Sunny was nice enough to open his kitchen to us. He suggested the Rajasthani dishes and chose a nice variety for us. We were blown away by his food! We stayed for almost 5 days... Tried to find good places to eat... But still ended up eating most of our meals on the rooftop! The view is wonderful. The vibe is chill and laid-back. Breakfast thali was nice. They use good quality muesli and fruit for breakfast. Cold drinks were always available. But the Rajasthani dishes is where they shine. Highly suggest the Gattas (w the thicker sauce and veggies) and the Kaju curry(I like to add extra veggies in my curry dishes)! Some of the pastas may have a little "Indian" twist to them but they are tasty nonetheless! Overall best food and value we found in Johdpur! Thanks Sunny Guddu and Prim...little dude is a gem!!!!!
