We have been touring around India for about a week now and we have another week to go and so far this is the best hotel yet the lovely green gardens and the nice bungalows dotted around in various places give it a wonderful atmosphere. The dining area is comfortable and the food is great ( but not the best food I have have so far). Their are two lovely dogs that wander around the central yard area who are big softies. The only negative of this guest house is that their is no hot water in the mornings like most of India and this can be a problem if you are on a tight schedule but if you came to stay for a week or so and have the time to just wait an hour or a bit you will have water. On part that makes the hotel great is the workers don't even ask for tips because the people that work their are all family and they have just a central tip bucket. Overall this hotel has a lovely atmosphere and I would love to come back here sometime.

The greenery, the rooms, and the entire get-up of the place are superb. All the rooms look like cottages or huts but they have everything inside, including pretty large bathrooms. The entry of our room reminded us of Bilbo Baggins' home! Service is a bit slow but you really really never mind walking down the beautiful path to the kitchen to catch the staff -- in fact you look forward to it. All of this at a very decent price too.

Incredible place, very quiet, good food, nice garden and a very friendly family, who runs the place; what else do you want. The hospitality was exceptional, the food is perfect in every way and the setting is beautiful, relaxed and friendly. But I must say this is best hotel we ever stayed so far. For its shear simplicity.
Owner's son prateek & sanjay is nicely taking care of there guest. They arranged for a nice romantic candle light dinner for us. The food was superb. It was amongst the best we’ve had in rajasthan. The service is impeccable & the staff is courteous & helpful.
There are 2 large friendly dogs who keep watch over the place -- Happy and Pepsi , we love you . If you are thinking about a trip to Rajasthan, make sure you must must visit Mandore Guest House.
We just loved the stay at Mandore Guesthouse & will definitely be back.

Room Tip: we stayed in room with stone finish..

Rooms are spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very quiet. With a pleasant front lawn and courtyard, this is a calm oasis away from the clamor of the city. The owners care about your comfort and happiness, and truly make this feel like home.

Location is a bit out of the way, but it's easy enough to get a rickshaw to wherever you need to go.

Food is pretty good.

If you have lots of money and want luxury, then head for a palace or a 5-star property. However, if you want a comfortable, pleasant place to stay that's a great value, then this is a fantastic choice. We will come back soon... for a longer stay ...

There are different style of rooms. The first one I was seeing was really simple with white walls without any decoration. The room where I finally slept was a hut in the right end of the garden. The decoration was more authentic, unfortunately it was on the railway side and I heard all night the horn of the trains.
The garden is nice and quiet and restaurant cook good fresh food.
The staff was not so welcoming as in other places where I have stayed in India.
The location is from my point of view a bit far from the city but this is really personal point of view as I travelled solo.

Room Tip: do not go to the rooms (hut) that are on the right side of the garden if you do not want to hear tra...

Was not in center of city, but short rickshaw drive away. Management very nice and extremely knowledgable about wildlife in area. Can provide excursions for you, guided by I think themselves. I had other plans so did not use.
Has a restaurant on premises with good food.
