I given a clean double room, en-suite. The bed was very comfortable. Colour TV and refreshments available. The room was a little on the big size, but fantastic value for money.
The English Breakfast fully met our expectations. Well cooked food and served hot. The host made us feel very much at home.
Free parking, off road, at the front of the hotel .
Without doubt, we shall stay here again when visiting jodhpur

what to say ? such a nice hotel with much more nicer ppol working for it, the behaviour of staff seems like they arent just working but they are loving it too...!! the front desk receptionist was polite and warm enough , even though we reached there in odd hours, my son being an asthamatic, was taken care of,,, n the manager called the dr himself who was his friend too..... such was the experience that i would suggest every family couple and everyone.... to MUST GO and experience the experience they give... its warm, very warm... !! i wish all ...a best wish.....!!!! yah the place is safe 24x7 my kids were just roaming around here n there all the time...!!

Me and my friends plan a trip to rajasthan . It was our first day in jodhpur when one of my friend suggest us to stay in this Hotel Megh Niwas . We checked in it was a sort of modified haveli. Grand lobby and sitting area. As we were a little exhausted as we were seeing only the traditional things of rajasthan . For a change we checked the disc in the property , it was amazing , the DJ was ool playing Punjabi and rap mix . rooms were big and nice , services good , a bit improvement in room sevice . It would defintely suggest you to stay if you want something extra

I was on a business trip to johpur in september, i got my booking done in this hotel .Situated at a very ideal location from the railway station only 1 km and very near to the sightseeing options too . The best part was the rooms and their services. Also they have got a disco in the hotel that is something you wont get in jodhpur. Overall a good hotel to stay in .

everything went wrong from the time we checked in
we got a smelly room with a broken bed and since it was 11 in the night and there was no other room available we put up with it until the next day.. my sis and I managed on one bed for the night ... most of the rooms are badly ventilated especially on the ground floor

the next day we inquired at the reception abt booking a car for seeing the city and were given a ridiculous quote - so we went alongwith the rtdc travel guy and got an option for less than half the quote....... the guy at the counter wasnt too happy about having lost his commission and really made it difficult for the rest of our stay

we had a phone booking for 3 days which they claimed as 2 (this was told to us on our second night ard 10pm ) - this was not even mentioned when we checked in giving details of our length of stay..... the register which we filled in during checkin clearly mentioned 3 days but the guy at the counter passed the buck saying that the prev person may have been sleepy enough not to have verified it - it was disgusting since he rudely insisted that we vacate the following day without offering alternatives for the mistake they had committed.

It was the day of christmas and finding hotels was really difficult ...... we tried talking to the guy at the counter and gave up and escalated to somebody senior. The senior guy apologized for the confusion and we got the stay extended for one more night..
this was such a big mistake... the reception guys were anything but courteous following this and we were humiliated for having escalated .....

during an early morning 4am check out which lasted an hour ..... it really deteriorated .... we were overcharged for breakfast not had, extra beds not sent and when we pointed it out and refused to pay they were unwilling to let us go ... after a lot of hassle we threatened to call in the police for physically holding us back with wrong bills and thats when they finally relented and removed the extra charges partially though....

Till we left none of the food bills were presented to us despite the hour long checkout...

I really regret taking my family and putting them through this trauma in the middle of a great rajasthan trip

if you are travelling by train or not having your own vehicle - it is really difficult to getting around from here since it is way off the main road and in residential area

for the price that you would pay here - I would recommend that you take other options in the city - i wish i had looked at options near the market area on the second day itself and spared my family a lot of headache

I and my wife had gone to Jodhpur for a marriage in the 1st week of December 09. We were supposed to stay at some place booked by our friend place who was getting married but since we were staying for 3 more days we had to search for some different place. We chaecked out a few hotels in the near by vicinity but some were really expensive and above our budget and others were just attrocious. While travelling in a rick i saw this hoarding of Megh Niwas on the club Umaid road and i told the driver to take ua there. We checked out the rooms before checking in. The standard room which we selected was not bad. It was clean, decent and not bad. All the rooms have air conditioners 7 tvs. The hotel is a couple of mins walk away from the main road where all the autos stand but you can ask the desk guy to arrange one for you. Its a 15-20 mins drive away from the jodhpur railway station. The hotel is just a couple of months old and so the staff seems inexpirenced but they try their level best to satisfy their guests and do all that they can. Our bathroom was also big but needed some improvement. The cot of our room used to make a lot of noice so sometimes it was a nucance otherwise its not a bad option. The food is also not bad. The owner Mr Manvendra had thrown a party for the inaguration of his lounge bar named Klay oven and he also invited us for it. We checked out early at 5 am since we had a train to Ramthambore and we requested to staff to pack some b'fast for us during the journey and they packed some toast & parathas for us. Overall a good hotel for a budget stay.
