We took our Family Vacation in the late part of June through the 4th of July. The night time temp. upper 30's to lower 40's and the day time Temps low 80's.
The Scenery, just amazing! Several mornings we had deer near our Chalet. The Chalet was just perfect and the pictures don't do it justice. We went on several hikes up to the National Forest, which the entrance was right near us. We used Angel fire as a base camp in which we went out to see Taos, Red River, Eagles Nest, Various other National Parks.
There is a quaint little bakery in town that also serves great tasting large meals, which is frequented by the town locals. Our last evening we spent in a large open field near the local airport and watched the incredible sunset as we were surrounded by Mountains.
Guy G was very helpful and many great suggestions of things to do in the area.
There was only one real negative with our stay at Angel Fire, and that was; we had to leave!
Great place. We had friends join us and we all agreed that the pictures didn't do it justice. It was clean, very important to us, and had everything we needed. If we had any questions the owners and the hired agent were quick to help. We had a few questions and they all were polite and assisted rapidly. These questions ranged from before we left to while we were there. We loved sitting on the huge deck and viewing all the wild life. The huge windows overlooking the porch let all the nature in and it was a great view. My 13 year old loved the hide away bedroom with the little door. Thank you George Family for a lovely time.
The cabin was absolutely amazing. The view couldn't have been any more breathtaking. We will certainly be back
