I got this Hotel on a Gate1 tour. The guide said it was an "upgrade" from the original unavailable Hotel. Boy I would hate to see what a DOWNGRADE looks like! The elevators were Very rickety and unreliable. I DO need one at least for my suitcase. There are HUGE beehives on the outside (killer bees?) but these are avoidable. Their idea of internet access is you use one of the front desk computers with the guy peering over your shoulder. Who needs That? The restaurant was meh. I ordered a mixed drink on the menu and they had to look up how to make it. Maybe avoid this place AND Gate1

Totally mismanaged, buffet running dry, waiting for tables, pathetic food quality. Definitely no need to spend money here. It took them atleast 3 hours to check out. The staff was polite and was trying to help but this does not help. You have to share tables even when u are in a group of 6. If they change the cook and improve the management, it would turn out to be an excellent property and worth spending your vacation.

Ideally located overlooking mountains. I noted the property going through renovations adding many facilities and converting to a international brand. Friendly and helpful staff. All rooms have a spacious balcony with a view. Once hotel go through the renovations no doubt will be an excellent mid market resort.

We stayed there for one day. The travel agency had sold it as a five star hotel which is not near reality.
The hotel is still being built and it is quite noisy during the day.
The bathroom is not up to standars, with no shower curtain, no plug to use a blow dryer and poor finishings.
The breakfast buffet was OK but we were charged 120 rupees for a bottle of water!
Also, the hotel arranged a driver to take us around the city for a fixed price. When we came back, the hotel ask us to pay more because the driver had taken us to another place. The taxi driver did not explain that to us and we felt ripped off.
In general, the hotel is not a five star hotel and they have a long way to go.
We would not recommend this hotel for the price we paid. You can stay in the city in a better hotel for the same price.

Stayed at Lotus Resort for two days and could conclude without any dobuts, that this is an ideal place for all those who want to waste their hard earned money and ruin their holiday.
The fittings in the bathrooms are of extremely poor quality and have zero mantainence.
The buffet spread was also extremely disappointing.
The only plus point was that the staff was polite and cordial however that does not make up for the horrible rooms and sub standard meals.
