My latest stay was with Sheraton Hotels & Resorts #udaipur in the month of Oct this year."Value for money" would be a term which will be a under statement .Starting form the booking , i was offer an amazing package at a discounted rate. The check in was smooth and the view from the room was awesome. The room itself was very spacious neat and clean. The hotel has all the amenities to be called a 5* property . It has 2 big swimming pools which is rare to find. The best part which my child was thrilled about was it had a kids play room as well with a trained teacher in it.
The breakfast and dinner was part of the package we were given so no tension with food . The offering in the Breakfast and dinner was no less than a feast. Above the same the service at the restaurant was impeccable and praise worthy. The staff left no stone upturned to make sure we had everything we wanted even if it want on the menu. We stayed there for 3 nights and each one has a memory in the minds for always.
Some minor things which the management can improve on are the cleanliness of the bathroom and the supply of daily toiletries in the bathroom. Also for a hotel of it size they should be having a separate kids swimming pool which is missing.

Room Tip: Choose the higher level lake view rooms.

This large and very grand looking hotel is in a marvellous position overlooking the lakes of Udaipur. Unfortunately inside does not really equal the splendour of the first impressions. The staff are very nice and try their best but a few silly things let the hotel down. Firstly, they didn't have a room for us when we arrived but this was soon put right. Secondly the toilet leaked water over the bathroom floor and although this was no real problem it should have been seen to. The lighting in the bedroom was very poor and even with all the lights on it was difficult to read a book in the evening. The hotel reception seemed reluctant to change more than £100 in travellers cheques at a time even though it was obvious that the cashiers drawer contained at least half a million rupees. The hotel was noisy as there were many Indian families there there with young children who ran around, but this may have been due to the fact that it was holiday time. It's a shame that this things let the hotel down as the position is magnificent

Celebrated my anniversary with them. Very spacious and clean rooms. We were given a lake side view room overlooking the Fateh Sagar lake as a complimentary upgrade. The staff is courteous and helpful. Booked 2 nights and got the third night complimentary from their website. About 20 mins drive from the airport. Had breakfast which had a lavish layout. One needs to have is own vehicle too move around as this place is a little far away from the main city.

Room Tip: Lake side view rooms have a better view and are brighter.

A hotel with great view of the Fateh Sagar lake, one of the 2 big lakes in Udaipur the other being Pichola. Excellent staff good rooms and good food. The spa is really great !!! Mrs.Preeti from the SPA made it even more special.
Must stay hotel whenever you visit Udaipur. Me and my wife had a awesome stay.
Swimming Pool is also gr8 !! all in all a gr8 place to stay with warm staff.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the entrance give the sunrise view and the lake ..awesome combo :)
