Since you check-in in this hotel you notice how special it is. Decoration is very picturesque.

Personnel at the lobby are very friendly and eager to help. In fact all personel I addressed during my stay are so.

I was there in August and hotel was quite empty. Rooms are very ample but could use some revamp. Bathrooms are also large and with jacuzzies. Sleep quality is very good.

There is an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor one at the terrace, near the restaurant.

Views from the terrace are great.

I didn't have lunch or dinner but breakfast was quite limited in choices.

Wifi is available through the hotel although reception was not so good from my room.

This is not a luxury hotel but I enjoyed its originality. Service level and features were good enough.

I would return. Recommended

This boutique hotel was built with heavy influence of the Rajasthani heritage. Albeit new, the moment you entered the hotel, you would be transported into a cultural trip. The staffs are very friendly that they took us around the hotel and show us various types of rooms and the common areas. The receptionist took a bit longer to check us in but we cant really complain cos they allow us to check in as early as 8 AM!

We didnt get the chance to use the pool which looks amazing & most importantly, clean! But we had dinner in the restaurant and the taste was superb! Breakfast was just ok though. Restaurant for dinner is highly recommended and has a very romantic setting [outdoor seating with local musicians]

Location wise, it is right next to Trident and Taj Oberoi, so you need to take auto rickshaw to get to the touristy area i.e. city palace etc.But I did enjoy the quietness in the evening.

Recommended!

Huge spaces within the complex are painted with bold colours and motifs. Walls and ceilings are adorned with paintings from folk tales. Has excellent views of the lake Pichola and the city palace from roof top. But none of the rooms have any viwe whatsoever.

HI,
i was reffered to this hotel via friend who happens to be known to the owners also, i was dicey before but when i read reveiws i was bit confident . as i entered the hotel . i was awe struck with the ethnic work on the wall and the craveture made by the owner of the hotel.

reception :- The staff at the reception was bit less welcoming and trust me it take them ages to smile. check-inn was smooth.
room:- awestruck , room sizes can be compared to uday vilas(top 5 properties in the world) beautifull paintings and cravetures on the wall. very good bathroom.
the only thing rooms lacks in is the view rest everything is perfect.

restaurant :- roof top restaurant is the best thing in the hotel a must must must go place and food is also upto the mark. service i found is bit.

staff :- the lower staff as in the cleaner and bell boy are very good and very smilling i dont remember the name one was kalal and the other one was at the night duty.
medium level position staff are evry good. just that have to work on the reception staff.

i ordered for a knife as i wanted to cut my bday cake it took them one hour to get it. i stayed in room no. 201 on 25th and 26th night.

hotel :- a very beautifull hotel a must must stay if you really want to enjoy the udaipur paintings and glass work and have a feel of a palace. its the best bet.

Room Tip: palace room are decent big but try a royal suite and definatelly try roof top swimming pool.
