Description: This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.

“Nice concept, not quite there yet though.”
Reviewed 3 February 2013

Nice concept for veggie and healthy dishes with specially sourced ingredients, less oil etc - quite different to the usual Indian fare so worth a stop.

Food was tasty in general and around 100 to 200r a main dish. Staff are friendly, however both our dishes were almost cold when arrived as the kitchen is on ground floor with 2 levels of seating above so I suppose the waiter is running up and down all the time!
Also the place could be a little cleaner.

“Food - not just for the body!”
Reviewed 1 February 2013

An absolutely lovely place...cozy, warm, innovative and inviting! Absolutely loved the food and the innovation done with it. Reasonably priced, lovely collection of books to sit and read..great location, right by the lake (quite a view from the 2nd floor!). Finding a quiet, serene space, in the middle of crazy, busy street, that not just gives healthy, sumptuous, yummy food..but also gives your mind space and reasons to think about our current life! This place is a must-visit for all those who wish see and feel inspired by a passion turned into reality!

Can I please take you with me all over India?

Your staff was friendly and helpful, your space was comfy and inviting. . .

I will miss you as I journey away from Udaipur. Keep up your fabulous work!
