This hotel is well located and a pleasantly designed building, but is a victim of its own success. Since I last stayed (10 years ago) it has become very popular with foreigners and had become over priced and complacent as a result. Most of the staff have a real attitude problem. They make you feel like you should be grateful that they have given you a room.
Rooms are ordinary although clean, but the hotel is noisy and there is little privacy.
Restaurant staff have a similar attitude, especially in the evening when the hotel's roof terrace is popular.
I noticed that some Indians received particularly bad service, which is borne out by other reviews.
There are much friendlier and better value properties in Udaipur.More
