This lake is set between the mountains. Very wide and very calm. Very pictursque. Unless you love lakes, you wouldn't know what to do next after you've seen it for say half an hour. Go only if you're staying at the Jaisamand resort.

Beautiful place, quiet. Beautiful nature (trees). Fishermen on the lake.
This is the 2nd largest man made lake in Asia.. but in terms of view its just another big lake, with exorbitant rates for a boat ride with never ending views of the water and horizon. Its really far from Udaipur city (at least 2 hours) and can be easily missed unless you have lots of time
Nice and quiet place near to Udaipur. Good for spending a day or two with Family. Where you can truly relax and spending time with family. Location is excellent. Rooms are specious. Food is also good.
There is nothing to do or see.. Skip and save the time to do something else. The drive from udaipur to Jaisamand is about an hour long. There isn't much except the lake and boating. Unless you plan to visit the Jaisamand lake resort don't venture in that direction.
We stayed for less than 15 minutes after reaching the lake because it was dirty with monkey poo.
