For a great dinning experience you require 4 things and it has all in best of it

1. Great location.
2. Great setting and ambience
3. Great food
4. Great hospitality, Mithu menaria made our evening memorable with his service and humour.

“Photos Deceive - Zero Star Hotel -- Masquerading As Something Better”
Reviewed 17 February 2014

While set in a lake-front location, the hotel itself is a worn down, grubby at the edges, overpriced, property that cannot even supply hot water. In winter, be prepared to shiver while having a bath.

A penny-pinching management refuses to fix the ancient water heater system. Guests have to request hot water (with 20 minutes advance notice) and even after that the water is not hot because the pipes lack insulation and a valve leaks.
Breakfasts are skimpy (only two small cups of tea!) and meals are pricey. The same quality hotel can be obtained at half the price in Udaipur. The fact that the hotel name imitates the name of the more famous "Leela" chain tells us much about the deceptive nature of their advertising.
This is a classic example of how clever photography and hype induce internet users into paying more than they should have. If you value the admittedly spectacular views, then it may be worth it. There is little apart from the location to recommend it. A car or taxi cannot approach the hotel and you have to walk for 10 minutes through winding alleys with bags to get to the hotel. (Naturally, they do not tell you that).

“Rubbish”
Reviewed 10 February 2014 via mobile

What a joke.

We went here expecting something 'special' and we left with a bad taste in our mouths - literally!

If you choose to come here don't expect anything out of the ordinary. It's not posh, it's not clean, it's not tasty and the service is appalling.

The view is good. But the view is good from pretty much everywhere in Udaipur.

Dispute being far more expensive - the food is rancid compared to the traveller 'dives' nearby.

For less money, fabulous food and incredible service I would thoroughly recommend going to Savage Garden.

The place is incredible. If you're looking for something special avoid this place that has the same standard of food and service as Burger King.
