“Beautiful horses!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 March 2014

If you are a horse person (and even if you’re not), Krishna Ranch is a must do when in Udaipur. Arranging the ride was a breeze. I simply emailed our request about a week in advance. We were picked up at our hotel promptly at 8:30 and transported to the ranch. It was only about 7km outside of the city but hours away in term of peace and quiet. The ranch was beautiful and we could tell that the horses were extremely healthy and well cared for. When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely lady (Narani, I think) who had a wonderful smile and kind words. After being matched to our horses, we were on our way with Dinesh (the owner/guide), a motor cycle and a couple of guys on foot all who made sure that we were safe and that the way was clear of traffic, buffalo, cows etc.
We had a fantastic half day ride through beautiful countryside and villages. Lunch was a lovely and delicious way to finish the day. Beautiful ranch and well cared for horses. It was fantastic to finally meet smart, strong and brave Marwari. Overall, this was an excellent way to experience rural Udaipur.
My only regret is that we didn’t have more time for a longer ride or safari…maybe next time.

“Wonderful 6 days trip through Rajasthan”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 February 2014

If you're looking for some fun with very well kept and trained horses, Dinesh is your guy. He looks out for everyone and makes sure that every rider is satisfied. For those more experienced he knows some challenging paths and provides the opportunity to trot and canter while those who like to go a bit slower can split from the rest of the group for that time and go an easier way - always accompanied by a guide of course. Dinesh also makes sure that the journey goes as smoothly and safe as possible. The group was always accompanied by two boys on a motorbike, stopping cars so we could cross the street or chasing buffalos and wild horses away.
The tents were very comfortable and we even had a moveable bathroom on the way. The food was excellent and plenty. And the places Denish took us were just wonderfully beautiful. Whether it was the Kumbalghar Fort or the deeper part of the river where we could go for a swim after a long hot day of riding ... overall the trip with Dinesh was the perfect holiday.

“Excellent expert tour!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 September 2013 via mobile

We emailed the night before and took a half day trek around 3 villages in the countryside.
The tour was great and we could see that the horses were really well looked after and healthy.
The staff were friendly and we were picked up from our hotel.
Dannesh is helpful and knowledgeable. We stopped in the villages and were taken to Tiger Lake which is beautiful!
Lunch is included.
Definitely worth a go if you want to see more than the city in Udaipur!

“Great experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2013

I called them at 8:00 pm the night before I wanted to go (low season) and they were happy to do a half day trip for one person for regular price. The guide was knowledgeable and kind, the farms beautiful and the animals well kept. The tour through the countryside was a welcome break from the city chaos. The lunch provided was simple and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I horse back ride at home and my partner does not at all. We both enjoyed the experience and our stay at the ranch. (Look up more reviews as it also under the hotels category)
