The place was so overcrowded with people, all I did was get pushed around and get frustrated.the local females were uncivilized. Not an inch to walk. Bags, mobile phones, cameras not allowed. Didn't get a good view of the statue also.there was muddy water at places.
According to me, temple should be a place of calm and peace where one can be with oneself and be happy.

The temple is located at Nathdwara, which is about 40-45 Kms from Udaipur, further ahead on the road to Eklingji and the distance can be covered in an hours time. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna, who is in the pose, symbolizing lifting Govardhan Parvat. The temple is believed to be built in the 17th Century and also known as 'Haveli' or mantion.
The Nathdwara appears to be small town with all commercial activities revolving around the temple. The temple is very popular among the devotees of Lord Krishna.
The access to the temple is through a narrow lanes.
The temple opens for a specific intervals, many times during the day. When the temple is closed, the devotees queue outside the temple, in order to enter the temple, when the doors are opened again. However, during our visit, the crowd reduced about 10- 15 minutes after the doors were opened. About 5 minutes before the doors closed, there absolutely no crowd and peaceful 'Darshan' could be had. I believe, this is the situation on most days, except on weekends, holidays and festival days.
During our visit, some restoration and up gradation work was in progress at the temple.

This place is full of spiritual frenzy.. The Lord Srinath ji allowing darshan / view to His devotees at fixed timings and the devotees rushing to have darshans are a sight to watch and cherish.
