Really enjoy the place and the people, they are really prestative. From the hotel it's possible to go to Taj Mahal on foot. It's also near by other touristic points. The rooms are really clean and safety.

This was booked through my travel agent and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are so friendly and helpful an always keen to have a chat.
My room was large, clean and well furnished. The bathroom was tiled with fresh blue and white colours and the hot water was hot! Wifi worked well on my room which was at the front. The noise from the bust road didn't bother me.
The hotel is easy walking to the west gate and sunrise was magic!
The main downfall is the restaurant which is way overpriced. Breakfast was included and was absolutely dismal!!! I had one choice only which was a bland omelette with 2 pieces of white toast, buttered. I don't eat butter and enjoy at least pepper in my omelette.
I found an awesome restaurant in Raj Ganj at the Saniya Palace Hotel. It's a little tricky to find but make the effort and ask where it is. The restaurant is cheap, delicious, fantastic service and without doubt the BEST views of the Taj Mahal.

Ok this was not our choice in hotel but due to our uncle collapsing out of dehydration just outside this hotel in the rush of an emergency we checked in and booked 3 rooms. The rates we were charged was of a 3/4 star hotel in the area what we got were dingy rooms with mismatched make do furniture and bedding. Also the noise pollution is really dealing in this area. So my issues with this hotel is ....as promised "hot running water" ,no hot water came out of the shower .when we confronted the owner she said " it's very cold so the geyser pipes get cold and that's why cold water but if you want hot water il send the boy with bucket of hot water" . We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights the geyser pipes remained cold and buckets of water kept arriving. Attached to the hotel is its restaurant ,once again service is ridiculously bad .My sister and I had ordered coffee, toast pancakes and syrup. First arrived the pancakes the syrup was to follow ten minutes later ,thereafter the coffee arrived probably 15 mins after that followed by cold toast. Then the Internet cafe which is advertised to give free surfing for guests ,it was such a poor connection Internet explorer couldn't even be opened. Be warned this is not a place to bother checking into ,you will just be banging your head against people out to make money.

Room Tip: If you are going to stay here try get a room that doesn't face the main road. Also note to acces...

We spent a night at this hotel while visiting the Taj Mahal. The room was priced well enough, although we have since stayed in better places for less money, I suppose you are paying for the location.

The rooms were clean but like another reviewer said, a little moist. Like most hotels in India they have a thing with hot showers and we were only able to get 1 hot shower. I probably could have got the manager to turn the water heater on again, but didn't.

Our room (105) was one of the closest to the main road so was a little noisy for a large part of the night but wasn't too bad.

Our friend had a issue with her room that was handled very well by the management.

I would reccomend this hotel, mainly for the location.

The hotel was quite clean, the service was alright, the breakfast was average and the WiFi worked allright.

For some reason, the room was so humid that our clothes got moist and pages of our books... well, got these waves that pages have when they get wet. We had planned to wash some laundry in this hotel, but they would never have dried in this room.

Also, when we checked in, we had to leave our passports in the reception. We were told our passports will be brought in our rooms "in five minutes", but they weren't brought in the next hour. When we were leaving out of our room, our passports were still on reception's desk - and there was no one to keep an eye on our passports. We think a passport is a thing that shoulnd't be left unattended!

We had tea in the hotel's restaurant, and behind a writing desk in the back of the dining room, there was this guy who seemed to belong to the hotel's staff. He was eating something and burping out loud - not a nice sound during your evening tea. After tea, we waited for a waiter to ask for the check, but no one appeared. So we asked for a check for this burping guy behind the desk. He just stared back at us, not saying anything. We just left the money on the table and walked away, and then, in the hotel's lobby someone hurried to remind us about paying our tea.

Next morning, after the breakfast, the waiter implied that his service isn't free even though the breakfast includes the price. We just sayid "ok" and walked away. We think there shouldn't be any payments that hasn't been announced beforehand. If there's "breakfast included", a payment shouldn't be demanded afterwards.

I called at the last moment for the hotel reservation , they followed up properly and arrange me a room. The room was very clean, close to Taj mahal with proper management which ensures that every step i take was theirs to keep.
Would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Taj and looking for a budget hotel.

We stayed here for 2 days with our 1.5 yrs old baby. Overall a very average hotel, rooms are small though clean. The management is co-operative. The location is its best selling point, as the West Gate of the Taj is just 5 mins walk away, and the Fort is 15 mins by autorickshaw. The hotel also arranged for a guide for Fatehpur Sikri, and the guide was pretty knowledgeable and courteous. The food at the restaurant Qaiser Bagh is very expensive, and avrage in taste. After the first day, we had all meals outside the hotel. Please note - this hotel does not have room service. The hotel is situated right off the busy Fatehabad Road, and the traffic sound is continuous, so if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Overall an average hotel and more or less value for money, nothing special about it. Please also note - the hotel does not have a lift, and we were given a room on the 2nd floor. The stairs are quite small and steep.

Room Tip: Avoid the road facing rooms as the traffic noise is quite loud
