Our stay at Taj view was very enjoyable. we had a wonderful view as we had a taj facing room which was large enough and comfortable to stay with 2 small kids. the view evey morning and evening was magnificent as taj view is the only hotel from which you can see the front view of taj as other hotel has a side view rooms. The staff was very good and helpful with prompt service and very hospitable.

Hotel had a very good indian cuisine and different cocktails to offer for those who loves to be in bar for few hours, food and drinks were really delicious.

Kids has the very nice pool to swim and magician and few games to play and of course the visit to Tajmahal was great and so was Fatehpur sikri.

There is a wonderful spa therepies to enjoy which is a day activity to enjoy thereafter sliding into pool.

hotel has a very relaxed and calm environment and had maintained their standard.

Our stay was very relaxed, enjoyable and memorable too.
To sum it up ehenever i go to agra again i will stay in taj view hotel again and again.

We stayed in a Taj View room but we really only got a slight glimpse of the Taj, the view is ruined by ugly city construction. The hotel is however quite close to the monument and it is very easy to take an autorickshaw from just outside the hotel gate, remember you have to bargain a bit. Infact the same autorickshaw will take you to all the sights and you can book him for as long as you wish.
The room was very well decorated and was very comfortable. The pool was nice, it also had a spa and a gym. The coffee shop had great buffet meals, we also tried their restaurant which served some good Indian and continental food. However they were having a Thai food festival at the time which we tried and felt it was below average considering this is a Taj property.
The Taj hospitality was as warm as ever, a nice place to relax and unwind after a hectic day of sightseeing.

I know there isnt much in this price range in Agra but this hotel was a little disappointing. It could do with a refirb and the breakfast wasntt great. The silliest thing is our Taj view room had the bed looking the oposite way to the Taj! The staff were nice and pool was ok though.

Big, older, very well maintained hotel. We pulled into it's courtyard and were welcomed at the curb by staff. Check-in was easy and complimentary fruit and water were waiting in our big, clean room with Taj Mahal view. Cocktails were iced in the Lobby Lounge and there was a mini-bar in our room. AC was comfortable, but not over the top. (from USA in India)

Ok its a Taj, and the Taj chains are meant to be some of the best in India.

I would tend to agree, IF the staff weren't so insisting with tips. They loiter and pounce on you like a pack of wolves, and after 3 days and gastro enteritis this does become quite annoying.

The swimming pool was lovely. The spa facilities looked good value. Breakfast arrangement was good but 400 rupees is pushing it! Some of the food (mainly dairy produce) looked iffy, and yoghurts could have walked out the hotel by themselves.

Internet facility was fast (4mb line) but again pricey. Comfortable bed and great toiletries.

I was very pleased with our stay in the Taj View. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. A staff member named Shreya was very helpful in assisting me with shipping some things and made the stay much more pleasant!! The location of this hotel is about ten minutes walk from the Taj Mahal and very near to a number of food and shopping opportunities. However, the revolving restaurant at the top of the hotel has a wonderful view along with great food and staff. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Agra.
