stayed in the place for around a week. location is good enough, though it's not the old city, it can be reached by 10-15 minutes walk. by Indian standards the rooms are more or less clean with new tiling on the floors, and some of the rooms have balconies which is nice. i would have stayed in the place much longer if it was not so noisy there. there is an unused piece of land just nearby that hosted Indian parties/discos almost every night when i stayed, but what really pissed me off was the noise from the reception area - loud TV, speaking, laughing, shouting, etc. sometimes till 1am, sometimes till 4. No one told me India is a quiet place, but if the management aims at international visitors, they could care a bit more about their service standards. When i asked about the noise, i was offered to check out. was it due to language barrier or of the guest house policy, i moved to another place.
