“Modern Temple”

A beautiful temple calm and peaceful. We went to see the automaton show which was the Gods acting out the festivals and other important events in their religious lives.
The white marble is beautiful and the stories written around the walls inside the temple are exceptional .

“Tulsi Manas Temple”

Lovely and big temple. The walls are all carved with the different khandas of Ramayan from the Saint Tulsidas. It is a calm and quiet place, much in contrast to the other temples and city of Varanasi.

“Beautiful and Peaceful”
Reviewed 13 May 2013

Tulsi Manas Temple is made of white marble. It is believed that at this place Goswami Tulsidas, composed and sang Sri Ramacharita manas, the story of Rama. That is why this temple is kinown as Tulsi Manas Mandir.

This temple of Rama in white marble, is set in midst of lush greenery. It gives an aura of peace and calm.

The walls of the temple are inscribed with verses and scenes from the Ramacharita manas. If you go to first floor, you can see many figures in the gallery. Photography is not permitted.

Near by this temple you can visit Durga temple, Trimurti Temple, and Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple in one go as they all are situated within a stretch of 2 kilometers on the same road going from Bhelupur crossing to Lanka crossing..
