We visited here as part of a hike around the Landour area.
Nice panoramic view of the mountains, but no sight of any snow-covered peaks unless the weather and clarity is right. We visited in late June, and the fog/forest-fire smoke effectively blocked any views beyond the foothills.
Located along a nice, easy hike from the chaar dukan area, so best to walk up to this spot.
There's a 10Rs/person fee to climb up a piddly little observation tower with a telescope. Skip it - it's the same view and the telescope is practically useless ..
