“Lovely for a little getaway and maybe suitable for animal lovers”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

I stayed in the 2-bedroom villa with friends recently for 2 nights. The location is far away from Kuta and a bit secluded. Our driver had a hard time finding this villa as the property numbers in the street are not really in sequence, but you can call the villa for directions.

The check-in was quick. We had our welcome drinks. The villa is lovely at the first sight, however it was too quiet at night it can be a little creepy. This is fine if you really love a quiet surrounding. I'm really not comfortable with the open bathroom concept, however the bathroom interior is lovely.

Pool is big and the royal blue tiles really brings out a lovely pool. But during our stay, the pool light was broken so we couldn't fully enjoy the pool at night.

The only huge downside for me is, there are a lot of animals visiting us during our stay: rats, frogs, bats, lizards, mosquitoes, bees. We are fine with mosquitoes, though.. the rest of the animals listed just pass by our place, didn't really bother us, but if you really really do not like animals, you should stay away from this villa.

Wifi was excellent in the room. Breakfast was good, sent to our room on agreed time. Hotel attendants were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. It will be very great if they could install a sink in the kitchen area. The open living room and dining room concept was great. Some things can be improved though - the tv that some times couldn't be turn on or change the channel itself (mmm...) and some of the light switches that were a bit loose.

Overall, it is a lovely villa and we really enjoyed our stay.

It is a very quiet, peace and beautiful villa. No doubt about the service is excellent!!! They will serve you whatever you need in any time although their speaking is poor. They cleaned the pool everyday, send our breakfast to room and ask us whether we need a cap. Friendly!!! The cost of this villa is Ok, we booked 3 nights with Airasia flight tickets, cost RM1700++. So, if you are looking villas (private pool) with affordable prices then it should be a best choices. But, the location is not nice and do not any any grocery shops besides it. We need cap when step out from the villas. The food provided is limited, only 4 choices for the breakfast. Suggestion: bring some food or snacks when you going to stay this villa.

Mai Mesaree Villa is both quiet an lovely-the staff calls a cab for you if you need more (short drive to the beach and to Sanur main street).
I stayed here with a friend for 5 wonderful nights. The one-room villa is beautiful with a awesome garden and pool. The beds were comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful in any way.
The indonesian type of breakfast was the best: Fried noodles and fried rice

Would absoute stay here again!

I stayed here with three other friends in the two bedroom pool villa. While the villa is located on the quiet side and there is really nothing around, my friends and I rather enjoyed our stay here. The hotel staff will gladly call a cab for you and we usually took the cab to Jln Tamblingan, main street of Sanur for meals as the whole street has great food and restaurants. Each trip will cost 25000rp - 30000rp depending on the taxi driver and just a 5-8mins ride.

We loved the spacious outdoor pool and my friend loved the bed. Outdoor bath was alright and decent, facilities were quite basic. When you order breakfast, try the Mie Goreng! Skip the sausages if you're having American breakfast, they tasted kind of dodgy. While the villa's not the best and most luxurious, the staff were great with the service and really helpful in providing information!

My husband and I booked in here for two nights and ended up staying for four!
Lovely and relaxing. The villas have everything you need and the staff are lovely.
The villas are located 5 min drive from the main part of Sanur, with nothing around. Which worked out perfect for us. It is only a $2 cab ride to town, but would recommend bringing some snacks with you, as no shops within walking distance. And the food there ( incl breakfast) is pretty basic. But we went down to the ocean front for every meal anyway. But every villa has a fridge.
Bathrooms were cool, but not perfect...but cannot be too fussy with outdoor bathrooms!
Due to the heights of the walls and receptions, each villas outdoor area is not totally private. Which wasn't a problem for us, but you wouldn't be able to walk around the yard starters without people seeing.
Amazing for the price! Would absolutely stay here again!

Room Tip: If you get the two bedroom, make sure you ask for the one with the outdoor bathrooms. Much bigger ya...

We recently stayed here over Xmas as a last minute getaway. The location in Sanur is away from the beach and main drag but it is a short drive to Sanur. You would have to go into Sanur to find a mini mart as the villas are down a road away from everything.
Upon arrival check in was fast and the staff very friendly. We had the 2 bed villa just off the lobby.

Positives:
Very friendly staff
Lovely grounds
Comfy beds
Great pool

Negatives:
No wardrobes in the rooms
The opening entrance into the villa courtyard needs fixing!
No hot water, mostly lukewarm at best
Breakfast is terrible, consists of bread, omlette, 2 tinned sausages, fruit, juice and thats it, it never changes. Great coffee however
Rubbish isn't always taken away

On the whole i enjoyed my time here. It is perfect if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle and like a more authentic experience.

My wife and I have been to Mai Mesaree in late August.

The premises were lovely and were very well maintained. The affordable luxury is well hidden in an intimate privacy in this part of Denpasar. The rooms are spacious, the private pools were clean and you will not believe the luxurious pleasantness of the surrounding environment.

Most importantly the staff are more than friendly and ready to help whenever is needed. The breakfast meals were also delicious.

Mai Mesaree villas are a definitely highly recommended A++.

Peaceful serenity in the hussle and bustle of Denpasar. Shops and Warungs are a ten minute's walk up the road either way.

Room Tip: The 2 rooms we stayed in were equally excellent
