“Salsa!”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

The staff enjoy a good dance here, and there's a band too. They don't play long enough, but really do know some popular songs, good to dance the night away!

I know how you feel! I can never get enough Salsa music and dancing either! lol. In fact that was the reason I started Cafe Havana. Our band play 7 pm till 10.30 pm 6 nights a week and take two short breaks, to rest their voices... Some nights if the guests are really hot they even jump down and dance with the guests. Thank you for your review... come dance some more and try our yummy Tapas and Cuban Cocktails.

“Nice tapas, great live band and dancing”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

Frequented Cafe Havana a few times whenever I was in Ubud. The tapas are delicious and there is quite a good selection there. Love the daily live latin band, La Bomba which plays lots of nice salsa, bachata, merengue and latin songs nightly, except Monday night. Enjoyed dancing there as well. Some waiters and waitresses in this cafe will dance when the live band is playing and they will dance with the customers as well if you ask them for a dance. Highly recommended this place if you wish to relax at night, listen to some nice music and maybe a little dancing.

“Tapas was super”
Reviewed 25 August 2014

This place was recommended to us and it was well deserved. We stopped in for lunch and shared some tapas. The food was really tasty and not just the same old thing. Having travelled to Sanur and then Gili Air where it seems every restaurant has more or less the same offerings, it was so nice to eat something different. Fantastic atmosphere. We will return here for dinner.

Thank you so much for letting Trip Advisor readers know about Cafe Havana as a venue that is open late. We are open till midnight (to respect our neighbors) 7 nights a week, and especially love to see families enjoying themselves together.

“Great atmosphere”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

My wife picked this place out to stop for a beer at the end of our first full day in Ubud. The place had live music and people were dancing inside the cafe. The cafe as the name suggests is based on Cuba, as such the most of the staff are dressed in Cuba style clothing. This place is like no other I have seen in Ubud yet. I liked the atmosphere and the staff were friendly and also dancing in there free time which made the place feel relaxed. I thought the prices were a bit expensive but otherwise I enjoyed my visit here. For something a bit different if would recommend here.

Well your wife is clever at choosing good places to relax after a hard day shopping. lol. Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the unique environment of Cafe Havana.... like stepping back in time in Cuba. Our prices compare or are cheaper than other good quality restaurants in jalan Dewi Sita.... the live music and salsa dancing waiters are a bonus.
