Just returned...what an amazing Balinese experience...definitely has the WOW factor!!!!!!
Beautifully appointed and decorated bedrooms, each with its own outdoor bathroom.Enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. Located close to Sanur and Ubud. Sparkling infinity pool. Lots of local activity in the river and beautiful ocean views. Very relaxing living in outstanding environment.

Room Tip: All bedrooms are equally beautiful

Villa Biara is located north of Sanur off the new Prof. Doktor Bagus Mantra highway and is on an absolute beachfront section of Saba Beach.
It is new, and beautifully decorated in modern Balinese style, with all of the four bedrooms having a partially open-air marble bathroom with luxury styling and fittings. Beautiful Balinese wood features and stone statues complete the decor with the front section of the Villa having a magnificent open air view of the ocean.
The tropical style gardens complete the picture.
The Villa staff - Maria and Wayan - did their utmost to make our stay wonderful and prepared breakfast for us each morning. A tour company from Ubud collected us and took us on the most fantastic bike ride through beautiful rice paddies and scenery. It is close enough to Sanur to enjoy many of the restaurants there but far enough away so that you are not amongst the Bali "hub-bub" and busy traffic and can enjoy the tranquility. We even enjoyed a small gym located just up the street.
We had a truly wonderful holiday and can recommend this Villa to couples or groups.

Room Tip: Our room had a lovely view of the Ocean

The villa is very beautiful and quiet. There is a Chinese traditional pool with pretty lotus, cute turtles and pretty fishes. It also has a big lawn and a very beautiful swimming pool in front of the dinning room. There are many beautiful rooms and you can see many bright stars at night. Every room has its own bathtub. You can enjoy spa or massage there. The hosts and the staffs of this villa are very friendly and sweet. I really had a good time there. If I go to Indonesia to spend my holidays next time, I will definitely choose this amazing villa.

Villa Biara afforded the opportunity to experience quintessential indoor/outdoor tropical living.. It was paradoxically both relaxing and at the same time exhilarating to lounge by the pool and feel the sea breeze and hear the sound of surf roilling from the beach in view across the pool.. .
The facilities are luxurious and just add to the experience.
While the location affords quite, privacy and seclusion, it is easy to utlise the on site staff to take you anywhere you need to go. We enquired about the possibility to play some golf and the owner was connected and organised golf for us on some of the best courses I have ever played on.
This place has everything.

Have been to Bali a lot and notice the place is getting so crowded. The traffic can be ridiculous and you can end being stuck in a taxi or transport for two hours and more getting back from somewhere like Ubud. This place is in a fantastic location - not just right on the beach but only a really short trip up to Ubud or along to Sanur or the Safari Park. It is just so wonderfully quiet. A beautiful breeze off the ocean, the whole place is open to it. The staff couldn't do enough to make sure we had the best time. There are some amazing restaurants close by but quite a few times we just hired a chef, bought some fresh produce (especially fish) and put together amazing meals served at the dining table which is in undercover but open to the ocean. Brilliant nights. It's close to Good surf breaks (keramas) and heaps of other activities in Sanur. Massage or spa services com to you. An amazingly restful week and the price was really good.

Room Tip: The best rooms are the front two as they have folding doors that open to the ocean breezes.

From the minute you enter the compound the atmosphere of relaxation surrounds you. The sounds of the sea, a short distence away, combined with the tranquility of the of the tropical gardens, pond and swiming pool the stress just peels away.
The bedrooms are very generous and the outdoor bathrooms are a delite. The open air living/dining/kitchen area allows the ocean breezes to flow through like constant airconditioning.
If relaxing by the pool is what you desire it is there for you but if you want to explore a short drive away is Sanua in one direction and Obud in the other both of which can fill your requirements if shopping, eating, drinking or just plain exploring is on your adjenda.
The staff could not be more helpfull. These gentle people are there to fullfill your every need, you only have to ask.
This place is my idea of Paradise, definately a return destination.

Beautifully secluded, newly built villa a short drive outside Senua. Charming and attentive staff. Impressive level of a attention to detail across all facilities and services. Spectacularly appointed rooms in authentic Balinese style. A fantastic and well-priced alternative to equivalent accomodation in busy Seminyak. Will definitely return.

Room Tip: We stayed in the guest quite with high ceilings, and elegant fit-out and a spectacular open-air ensu...
