Owner description: The Park is divided into seven regions that recreate the natural habitats of our birds, complete with indigenous plant life. You can travel from the deep misty jungle of Sumatra to Far East Indonesia and Papua to discover the native birds from these remote regions. Venture to other tropical continents too. See the South American exotics such as the Golden Macaw and the Congo Grey Parrot from the African Savannah.

One of if not the best bird park/sanctuary I have seen. The grounds are immaculate, the cages well maintained and the layout is well organized. The open air aviary is fantastic - the birds roam around and the habitat conditions are tremendous. Varieties in birds and colouration are just gorgeous. To top it off make sure you stay long enough to participate in the ritual Birds of Prey showing - this encompasses live birds, eagles, hawks and owls, and macaws, trained to perform and respond to their trainers commands - quite spectacular to observe the antics and reactions of these large and normally frightening birds - well the macaws aren't frightening but stunning in colour for sure. Show is only about one half hour but well worth the time.
Adjacent to the Bird Park is a Reptile Park - also well deserving a visit.

If you are staying in Bali this place is a must.
As with most places around Asia double pricing is an issue but its worth a trip anyway.
The park actually consists of 2 sections, the birds and the reptiles. Ticket purchase accordingly.
The bird park itself is a lovely park setup with greenery and spaces for birds to literally wander around freely and some in cages (birds of prey). Everywhere along the way staff with a camera offer to take your photo for a fee ( I believe its US$10 per photo with their camera) but they will shoot a couple with your camera as well for free with the birds on your shoulder
Birds of all species and colors with plenty of flying space seem to be well taken care of and look very healthy.
An onsite mini vet setup is there as well for newly hatched chics but the staff in here don't speak english so I couldn't get much information from them about bird care.

I love Bali Bird Park and I've been there many times. The birds are very well looked after and look very healthy, the handlers clearly love them, especially the birds of prey. Beautiful gardens and a nice restaurant, great juices. The staff are lovey and friendly and if you pick a good day there's not too many tourists. The birds of prey, always my favourites, are spectacular.

been here with some friends. the bird collections are not as much as i've expected.. not so many attractions as well. but the place is clean and the staffs are friendly and helpful. this place doesn't provide many food stalls either... we have to pay more than bali zoo which is much better than this bali bird park. so i guess this place is second option beside bali zoo and bali safari.

Thank Pingcen
