Owner description: The Park is divided into seven regions that recreate the natural habitats of our birds, complete with indigenous plant life. You can travel from the deep misty jungle of Sumatra to Far East Indonesia and Papua to discover the native birds from these remote regions. Venture to other tropical continents too. See the South American exotics such as the Golden Macaw and the Congo Grey Parrot from the African Savannah.

“beautiful sanctuary for birds”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

i think this place is a very beautiful sanctuary for birds. some of them live freely in the garden, and some of in a large aviary. you can take a photo with birds using your own camera, so it wont cost you too much to buy a photo in the photo booth. kids were very excited to saw lots of exotic birds in here. the admission fee was 80.000 for domestic tourist, and USD25 for foreigners. Quite expensive, but worth, because the environment, aviary, and all things there are well managed. the admission is included for the Reptile Park also (right beside the entrance of Bird Park).

“Birds!”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

I went to the bird park with low expectations. In fact, I thought I would not enjoy it at all. But, I was surprised at what a good time I had! There are tons of cool exotic birds in cages and walking around in a giant aviary. The staff is super fun and takes pictures of you with the birds and don't pressure you to buy their pro photos. There's also a reptile park included in the price of admission which was really creepy but nice to look at as well. I don't even really like birds and had a good time. I would recommend the park to anyone who likes birds in the slightest.

“11/10”

The true success of any enclosure with birds or animals is the fearlessness exhibited by the fauna. This space truly has happy birds and reptiles. It's a pleasure to walk through the park and see/ touch these gorgeous creatures. In spite of being from hot hot Mumbai, I found that the rate of dehydration is more intense. Maybe it's the closeness to the equator. For the 2+ hour walk, it helped to carry water and supplement with coconut water. A lot. There are several small shops and a Starling cafe that serves good food.
You will definitely need good walking shoes, sun glasses, cap, tissues and hand sanitizer. Please don't miss out on the reptile enclosure. They have a space where they allow animal handling. It's a great experience.

“Lovely day”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

The park is beautiful and the birds are stunning. The staff generally seem to take great care however there were a lot of schoolkids running around and chasing birds (such as the peacocks) and staff did nothing to stop it. Admission is expensive however if it goes towards the upkeep of the birds, that is OK. The enclosures were clean, secure and looked well maintained. Access for people with mobility issues was pretty good for Bali.

“Birds in thier environment”
Reviewed 7 June 2014 via mobile

Bali bird park has quite a range of species ranging from your birds of paradise to free flying cockatoos and hornbills; it was really great to see such a diverse range of birds been well kept and managed. The staff were very knowledgable about the birds and thier welfare needs, if anyone has an interest in birds I would definetly recommend taking time to go and see the park.
