“First-Class villa”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

I stayed in this amazing villa over the Easter break in 2014.

No expense has been spared in creating a beautiful and relaxing environment on a huge block of land right by the beach. All bedrooms were equally stunning with brand new bedding and quality furniture.

The outdoor private shower to 'my quarters' overlooking the rice paddies was a favourite feature of mine. While the fancy pool and cabaña ensured a secluded holiday atmosphere, perfect for a private getaway.

If you wanted a break from the sunshine, they were ample indoor living areas, including a fantastic pool room, massage room, and a large upstairs deck/terrace which captured the breeze and provided an excellent view out to the ocean and other islands. As well as a great place for a nap on the day beds.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and were able to organise drivers, masseurs and supplies at short notice. I really enjoyed the location, however it probably wouldn't suit any 'party animals' wanting to be close to Seminyak.

Ubud, however is a scenic 30-minute drive away, which captures the authentic Balinese culture with some amazing restaurants.

While about 40 minutes walk north along the beach (or 10 min drive) you'll find a chilled and funky surf club. There you can order cocktails and be served Western and local meals. We had an in-house-chef during our stay, who kept us well fed and served up some fantastic dishes, ensuring we didn't feel the need to venture out much for meals.

This is a first-class villa, and comes thoroughly recommended. I know we'll be back!

PS: If you're looking for a good day trip during your stay in Bali, I found the Downhill Eco and Educational Bike Tour really enjoyable (http://baliecocycling.com/cycling-tour/)

The hotel has just been open 2 months ago so we were amongst first guests being accommodated. The resort looks even better in reality than on web photos. Great piece of architecture, spacious with luxury interiors and very stylish but comfortable furniture together with Balinese decoration makes you feel exceptional.
There is a really nice and very clean garden, 25m pool
with wooden deck. The resort is composed of three different buildings - the main one is the Beach house with the dining area and living room at the ground floor and two Superior Studios in the first floor. That´ s where we were accommodated and it was just wonderful! the view from the private terrace is amazing, the rooms are spacious, with great bathroom followed by exterior bath tube. You are in the heart of the resort but you have your privacy. The other building is the Tree house - basically a private villa with two bedrooms and the last building is called The Coast House having in two floors
4 rooms.
The road leading to the resort is quite hidden and a bit bumpy. The location of the hotel is strategical for those who want to travel but lease of a vehicle is neccesity.

The beach of black sand is public, therefore not very clean and not suitable for swimming anyway because of rocks and corals.

The resort is being under survey of security 24/7 so you feel really safe.
Very friendly and not intruding staff speaking basic English.
There is no restaurant at the moment, but the breakfast is very nice (hot and cold drinks, fresh fruit, eggs with bacon, ham) and it can be served in the dining room of the Beach house, by the pool or in the garden house.

Anytime you can ask the staff to order delivery from local restaurant - we did it and we were quite surprised how good it was.

We strongly recommend this place to people that are looking for a quite, high end resort at a reasonable price!
