“Peacefull retreat in busy ubud”

Arrived here late afternoon and we were lucky to get a room. I think the rooms have been updates recently because they don't look like the older pictures (2012).
Superclean and friendly staff. Nice and quiet with view on the sawa's but still close to ubud centre.
Only Spa is ridiculously expensive! There are Nice and much cheaper places in the area.

Artini 3 was such a find in Ubud, we just walked in saw the room and instantly decided to stay for the rest of our stay. Value for money, Really peaceful, large spacious rooms, lots of privacy, great view of the pool and the rice fields beyond. Exactly what we needed - to relax, spend some quiet time, read etc. The staff, especially Mr. Putu, the manager of the hotel was particularly helpful to us. Breakfast is also good :)

Minor gripes and if the hotel management can fix this, the hotel would be just perfect -
Internet connectivity in the room is close to zero. The lobby, restaurant etc have it working just fine though. It was fine by us, but can imagine how it can be an issue for many.
Smaller details could be catered for, though those are nice to have, such as complimentary water in the room.
The restaurant in the hotel gets food from the close by restaurant - thus, options are limited.

I would totally recommend it to single travellers , couples and families looking for a peaceful time.

Room Tip: We stayed in the room on the first floor, very private and nice. Though, all the rooms are equally g...

The bathrooms have been upgraded and the rooms are fresh and clean. Stunning rooms overlooking the rice fields with beautiful green gardens. Fantastic friendly staff who take great care. Convenient location without the hawkers. A great stay

Nice room with view overlooking pool. Enjoyed the pool area. Convenient to have a driver and breakfast included in room rate. Service was friendly. Immediately responded to request to bring a converter for charging electronics. Had read previous reviews about room rate change at checkout and the same experience happened to us. Fortunately we had rate written when we checked in but still manager was involved but resolved satisfactorily at checkout.

The hotel was having some maintenance done, upgrading from what I could tell when my friend and I stayed here. This did not affect us at all and the cleanliness of the grounds and hotel in general was still excellent. The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to organise us transport, mopeds and other such things.
The room was a perfect size for the 2 of us, lovely and clean every day and nice and quiet at night. The aircon worked a treat to keep the mozzies at bay.

I cannot recommend this more as a plcae to stay just off the centre of Ubud, it is family friendly very romantic for couples and quite frankly jsut excellent in general.

Room Tip: All the rooms I could tell were good but we stayed on the 'front' over looking the pool on t...

Initally we are only planning to stay for 3 days. What actually change our mind is their warm service which is attentive to ur needs. I got myself a room big enough for my hub ,2 kids including my maid with additional mattress we only pay abt 85 SGD per night. Picture are not updated from what i see toilet is definately nicer now not to mention the rooms.

The location is outstanding. My son and I were only planning on staying 2 nights. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are wonderful. We were able to walk to some of the best restaurants and spas without jumping on our motorbike. The catalyst for us was Gudug Ketut. Gudug's hospitality and warmth kept us staying almost two full weeks. He is a wealth of information and always greets you with a welcome smile. We visited several places and Gudug made our visit the highlight of our trip.
