I have stayed one night at Villa Balquisse and i found the place extremely peaceful. The service was great. All staffs were very friendly. The design is lovely and it looks like you are in Marocan palace.

Room Tip: One of the best Boutique Hotel

We stayed here for 1 night before moving to a nearby private villa with friends & it was beautiful. Our room was huge with a semi private space at the front & back. The pools were lovely and the gardens were quiet. Unbelievable when you walk out of the gate onto the street which is manic!
We ate at the hotel & the food was great & very reasonable & the staff were lovely, particularly our waitress who seemed to run everywhere! The beach is easily accessable by walking through the Inter-continental gardens opposite, this is also a lovely place for a drink. Alternatively, to see the real Bali, turn left out of thehotel & turn down the road just before the shopping mall. It's a good 15 minute walk which brings you to some beach bars and cafe's. The other end of the beach is more up market & it's a lovely walk along the beach past the big resorts.
We would highly reccomend Villa Balquisse.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 7- the baroque room

At first,we found many good reviews here and then realized that those reviews are NOT overrated at all!! We stayed at Villa Balquisse on the last day of our trip before we left Bali. It took only 15 minutes to the airport so it’s must be a good choice for early flight in the morning. Villa Balquisse is a hidden gem in Jimbaran. We’re quite disappointed with the beach so the villa was a great escape when you had nothing to do in such a small town.

This charming villa was decorated in style, classy yet cozy. We booked 2 rooms: one for deluxe and another one for family room. The Deluxe room was Moroccan style. It was shady with open bathroom awaiting for any romantic couple. The family room was double volume. Both of them were well decorated which stunned us by many details in furnishing,

There are 2 pools separation. The guests can feel comfortable and privacy even the space is not that big. The outdoor ambience is well designed. We enjoyed mint tea by the pool as an afternoon delight.

Highly recommended for boutique hotel with reasonable price compare to beach villa in Phuket or Samui which we’ve been. Staffs are nice and lovely. Food at the restaurant is just average in taste.

Take a look at villa Shaba which located next to the villa Balquisse. It was luxury. Embracing nostalgic moments as if flashback to the colonial era.

The street outside was frenetic, but walking up the drive and through the gate was like walking into a oasis of calm. If you are looking for an escape from the streets of south Bali then this is it. Loved the shabby chic style of the rooms, the attention to detail, the pools, the sunbeds and the outside lounge area. There was loads to eat at breakfast. This is a small boutique hotel which definitely suits couples. The only downside was that they allow children and on our second visit we encountered a large family - peace shattered! They always seem full so I am sure they would be successful as a couples hotel.

Room Tip: Only saw 1 & 2 and they were brilliant

We stayed at the very private Villa Barissan in the heart of Seminyak for nearly 2 weeks and loved it - it's a glorious assault on the senses - a little haven in the midst of the heat and hustle and bustle of Seminyak. Decorated in lush silks, it blends hints of Morocco, India and Java. The pool was a God-send; the cool air-conditioned bedrooms spacious and restful; the daily breakfast excellent and the service second to non. Completely private and self-contained it was excellent value for money and we would definitely go again. The access off the main street is somewhat unkempt and the music from the nightclubs on the main road could be heard on the first couple of nights - but after that we never heard them again. Not sure if they closed down ( doubt it!) or we got used to it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Excellent all round.

We stayed in the Saba private Villa. Incredibly private, very classy. And unique accommodation. A combination of Balinese and Moroccan architecture and furnishings. Private chef, private pool, large rooms, great spa - great restaurant. Cannot recommend highly enough

Room Tip: Preferrably choose the Taba over Balquisse. Greater privacy, more unique and larger rooms. The extra...

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights at the end of our two week holiday in Bali. I couldn't recommend it more highly! The accommodation is stunning with great attention to detail. The swimming pools, sun loungers and outdoor lounge are beautiful and we felt like we almost had the entire resort to our selves. The service we received was outstanding - fruit kebabs and lime wate served by the pool each morning and tea and cookies every afternoon!
A nice extra was that you received a beach bag with beach towels, sun hats and sarongs.
One particular highlight of ours was that the hotel has a 1970s baby blue Volkswagon convertible car in which they offer free lifts to the beach! We felt like royalty! Breakfast, included in the room price was fantastic; there is lots of choice and all freshly cooked. We ate lunch in the restaurant twice and although slightly on the expensive side, the food was excellent and the decor perfect.
Jimbaran Bay is only a 10 min walk away. Go on book now! You will receive a truly perfect and unique experience.

Room Tip: We went for the Deluxe room which was perfect! All rooms are very individually decorated and all loo...
