The reason i didn't give it 4 stars was because the duck we had ordered (2plates) were over cooked. Rest of the family had fried noodles and fried rice and they like it. Spring rolls and tofu dish are nice too.
Ambience is nice and relaxing.
Were told by staff they are closing down in June and moving down the road (nearer towards the airport) in July (dates might change)
Price is slightly higher than places like Febris and Bali Garden.

This is one of my favourite places to eat in South Kuta. The food is always great and the staff are very friendly and helpful to explain the Indonesian dishes to you,it has a very nice atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable, my favourite is the Rendang. This place is really worth a visit as i will eat here on several occasions on our trip and we come to Bali 3times a year.

We ate here on several occasions during our month stay in Kuta. This was one of our favorite restaurants.

On our last visit we were presented with a letter (see photo) stating that after ten years in this location the restaurant would be moving. They have not found another location yet so the staff has been told that they will be unemployed when this location closes.

This is an excellent place so try to come before it closes. Here is a list of some of the dishes we had there recently...

Small Bintang...28,000 Rp (Cold)
Lime Squash...22,000 Rp (Refreshing)
Nasi Goreng...49,000 Rp (Average, just rice no satay)
Chicken Quesadilla... 74,000 Rp (Very good)
Seafood satay Bumba...97,000 Rp (Excellent)
Satay Ayam Kalaean...75,000 Rp (large portion, best yet)
Pisano Goreng...33,000 Rp (Very good)
Knapper tart and ice cream...51,000 Rp (Absolutely fantastic Dutch Bread Pudding)

All of the above food was excellent. All prices subject to the usual tax and service charges. The service was excellent and the staff always remember us. The other diners all complemented the staff on their service and the food.

Planning to go back again.

I once wrote on Tripadvisor that this restaurant was the best in Bali serving Indonesian food....Not anymore...New owner and chef....The Nasi Campur is totally different and riddled with Coriander...Some people like coriander but there is a lot that don't....The staff (female) was extremely rude of offensive when I told her I didn't like coriander....This restaurant use to be a part of the Bali Gardens Hotel but is now lease out.....Good luck in getting this restaurant up to stanard your going to need it....!!!
