“Quiet & Budget Friendly”

My friend and I stayed at there this past June for 6 nights. It was perfect for our budget, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. It's only a 10 min walk to the beach and isn't on the main party scene, which is what we wanted. The walk down the side street to get to the inn seems a bit sketch, especially if you come in at night like we did. We were 2 American women in our 20s traveling alone and just tried to be aware of our surroundings and what we carried, and we were fine. Just be smart and keep your guard up at night for sure.

We were looking for a place to sleep and shower with AC and wifi and a pool, and that's what we got. We spent most of our time at the beach and weren't looking for anything fancy, but we felt like we got more than we paid for and would definitely stay there again. We enjoyed our complimentary breakfast every morning and had not complaints at all during our stay.

If you're not high maintenance and want a quiet place to stay within walking distance to the beach I highly recommend Jesen's Inn II!

I stay here in from 14-17 July, good location for walking around. Room is normal and good, but it has problem with toilet and running rat on the ceiling at night ( I could hear it). Because the room uses glasses for windows therefore it is not fully-sealed. You could see 3-4 mosquito in your room.

And it also has problem with the air conditioner remote. They do not provide you the original remote, so that you could not turn it off once it turns on and vice versa ( I always have bad experience with Korean products like Samsung or LG, they are not as good as Japanese one like Panasonic, Daikin, Sharp, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, etc). Room 9 has an old Samsung airconditioners and I have to call them more than twice about to change the remote to turn it on :-<.

The biggest surprise is although I already deposit 50% money of 3 days staying here, when I come to the hotel for the 1st time to check in, there are many times they tried to ask us to full-pay the money :O. It 's really uneasy and uncomfortable for us, not only since the 1st day but also 2nd day. I do not know if they had any bad situation like the customers leave their place without paying or not, but I hope that this will not happen in the future. The receptionist did explain this will be good for me and good for the hotel but I did not sastify...

I had booked for a stay on 6 July 2014 until 9 July 2014. However, we had self checked out on 10 July 2014 and moved to another more desirable hotel. We were allocated Room 1 on the 2nd floor and never did we realised that the hotel does not have a passenger elevator which both my wife and myself had to carry our heavy luggages both up and down the stairs.

When we first checked into the allocated room in the hotel, it smell with a pungent smell, similar stench whereby the room seemingly was not being used for a long period of time. There were no basic amenities available such as hot water flask. I asked for hot water for drinking at night but was only served by the reception counter a single glass of warm water. When I asked for a hot water flask, they mentioned was unavailable throughout the hotel. In addition, there was no room phone available and every request we require assistance from the front reception, we had to climb down a flight of long and steep staircase to the first floor.

Although it was a huge room size for the price being paid for, however there was major renovation works ongoing in the hotel and it was extremely noisy in the early morning hours at 6.30am onwards. In addition, the bathroom of the hotel is also having similar pungent smell like the overall room when we first checked in. Air con was terrible and my wife and myself feels we were like in a hot sauna despite of the air con running at 16 degree Celsius at full blast throughout the time we were in the room.


We feel the hotel overall impression was far worse off with the fact that we had to moved out to another more decent and comfortable hotel of similar hotel class standards although having known the fact there is no refund to be made but this was due to the traumatic shock having just stayed there for only a night.

The reviews and photos posted on your website seemingly is untrue as the reality and actual hotel is far worse and is incomparable to other similar class hotels in the same vicinity.I will never return back to the same hotel despite of its low price.

Room Tip: Request for room on the Level 1 floor facing the pool as it seemed newer.

So glad we found this place on our second night in Kuta, a little bit of quiet paradise still with easy access to the beach and mall. Bit of a walk up to poppies 1/2 etc but that means a better nights sleep when you're done partying.

Staff were friendly and efficient and had no problem upholding our booking.com deal.

The place itself is as lovely as it looks in the photos, especially the pool.

Only negative would be the older rooms could do with a lick of paint and some prettier blankets, but the whole place is spotless.
We stayed in the newer rooms which are smaller but neatly refurbished, and had really good hot showers.

Great value for a really lovely place to stay!

The hotel was more rewarding than I expected. The rooms were neat, the AC was effective, the beds were super comfortable, the wash room had hot and cold water with bathtub, there were closets, desks and chairs and your own sitting area to enjoy your breakfast. The hotel is located in walking distance from the souvenir shops, kuta beach was walking distance and so are the other restaurants, bars and discotheques. The breakfast had options to choose from, the staff were very helpful in organising local sightseeing, cleanliness of the rooms and making sure that your stay is comfortable. I would recommend this place to everyone and would like to stay here again. The Wi-Fi was weak in the rooms and perhaps the hotel management should do something about it. Otherwise we had a great stay at Jesen's Inn II.

Excellent! When we arrived at Jesen's inn II the first night we where so happy.
Everything was so beatiful and the location was perfect. Only a short walk to everything!

The staff is always friendly, and they will help you with every problem you might get along the way. If I'm ever going back to Bali again this is the place I will book to stay at! Nobody can compet with the prices and the location.

My friend and I went to Bali for the first time. We only booked the first night cause we wanted to find the best place to stay after we arrived. We booked the first night at Jesen's Inn 2 and were so happy with our choice that we decided to stay a whole week. The staff were really nice trying to find solutions for us to stay even though we hadn't booked anything beside the first night. We looked for other hotels, but couldn't find any other with the same price with the same facilities.
