If you are looking for a convenient and well organized surf school on Kuta Beach Odysseys can't be beat. Great teachers and located right where it needs to be. And the price is right.

Our 16 year old son had 4 private lessons (2 hours each) with Nanang over the course of ten days. From the very start we were impressed with the professionalism and organisation of the school. We chose them based on the TripAdvisor reviews and the fact we were staying at the Hard Rock next door. The instructors were all very experienced and encouraged everyone whatever their ability. Safety is taken seriously and despite the sometimes very big waves the instructors kept the students safe. The tuition Tom received was outstanding and photos below were during the last lesson. The rest of the family wanted to watch and the school went out of their way to be kind and let us sit under their umbrellas and on their bean bags making it a memorable experience for the whole family. The photographer takes amazing photos. The photos are very reasonably priced and absolutely no pressure to buy. Would recommend this surf school to all. Also I should mention during the final lesson my son wanted to do the turtle release further down the beach. Nanang was very accommodating letting Tom take a long break mid lesson and then resumed the lesson giving him extra tuition time. Thank you Nanang - you are a star.
