“Limit your expectations”

A little tired looking hotel but refurbishment is ongoing, good timing!
Arrived late about 11.00 p.m. Check-In was smooth, porter decided to walk up stairs instead of taking the lift, it's nearer according to him, but we were tired!! Room is just a room with poor arrangement of furniture and fittings, no right at all. Just about to unpack luggage, the wifey noticed the sliding glass door to the balcony could not be secured, one can slide it open from inside and outside inspite of the locking device locked the two panels but not secured on both ends!! Changed room with some wait time. Anyway, all went well afterwards. Room check was not conforming to HQ standards!!
Congrats on the staff, all from front office to back office and restaurant, very courteous and helpful in service.
Although located a good 15 mins walk to the main lighted streets, the hotel do provide a shuttle to the Discovery Mall once every 2 hours, just a 5 mins drive.
The Hotel enjoys high occupancy throughout our stay (5 nights), breakfast spread covers a good range for Asian as well as western palette, although some improvements could be added. Again here it's all in the price one pays. A 3 Star property commands and offers the equivalent amenities. Understandable totally.
One morning at breakfast, the restaurant is near the pool. A large extended family was enjoying a swim, while other guests having breakfast. Guess what a "party" they had, loud and noisy and splashing, even grandma was feeding a child while swimming!!! Nobody at management level took any action which I thought was poor. The group should have beee reminded politely to behave and respect other guests dining there.
Otherwise, it has been great break for us in Bali again.
Would I stay there again? Well, if the refurbishment is completed Yes if not No.

When I first read all the reviews about the hotel, I was getting a abit paranoid as to whether I have made a correct choice in choosing best western kuta resort. The 4 days I have spent over there made me realise that I have made a correct choice. From a fellow hotelier point of view, it is well worth your money and greattttt customer service which sometimes goes out of their way. Room was just comfortable for sleep but I would still stay there on my next trip as it was a bargain at the price that I paid. Customer service simply excellent and it seems that none of my requests would be turned down. Great job guys!!!!

The hotel is near to airport. The deluxe room I stayed can connect to hotel wifi. The password will be given during check in. At night outside hotel, there is a stall selling " Pempek ", which you can try. Hotel breakfast is very simple. Rice, porridge, mee, potatoes, bread, corn flakes, fruits, egg........it's a 3 star hotel....

We we're put in a terrible deluxe room and complained at the reception and because the hotel was going at less than 50percent occupancy they offered us an upgrade to a suite which was again very average. The quality of room, poor furniture and very average service didn't give us a great experience but may be our plan to live at an average hotel for our first 4 days in Bali was good as we spent maximum time sightseeing and travelling.

You get what you pay for and at the min, one should be able to expect clean linen and a functioning toilet. The 1st room that was assigned was horrible. The entire corridor of rooms had been ripped (scheduled for renovation) and the moment the door was opened, there was a strong musty smell then we saw the linen were stained (with blood?) and the toilet had a foul smell and the flush faulty. The Mgt should really note the condition of the room before assigning the room to clients. This 1st 'greeting' potentially spoilt my holiday when it hasn't even really started. Another better room was assigned and the Mgt also sent a doughnut basket on our 2nd day there. Excellent service recovery gesture.
Travellers should also note that the free transfer is for one way, your choice which way. We were not told on booking and when we tried to get the transfer back to Airport, the staff said we had to pay. We were quite upset as we had issues on check in and then again on departure. Kudos to staff, Indra for settling the problem finally.
The few things that were good about the resort: 1) Staff were generally friendly and helpful, 2) Shuttle service was good and prompt, 3) Location is near enough to discovery even if you choose to walk and 4) Nice pool.

The location of this hotel is about 5-10mins from the airport. Try not to pay anything more than 50,000rp($5) for transport. They do provide free airport shuttle (8am-11Pm) if you email them beforehand It is also walking distance to waterbom and discovery mall.

When we arrived, they driver from the hotel kept trying to persuade us into taking the tours from him even though we told him that we had plans for our trip. As my sister was arriving at midnight, I asked how much it would cost for him to pick them up and he quoted us $9, when we wanted to confirm the transport booking with the hotel, we were told that it was only $5. In the end, I suggested that my sis should just get a taxi from the airport as the hotel staff were not very honest. They manged to get a taxi from the airport for $5.

We were given a ground floor room and the back door leads directly to the swimming pool. The F&B staff were really friendly. The rooms are huge but their linens are stained and could be a problem if you are picky. Towels were not very clean as well. The aircon was not very cold even though we adjusted it to the lowest.

Food at the cafe was good, they do serve some authentic balinese food and were cleaner compared to the street stalls, price was reasonable as well. The free breakfast was filling and tasty. One thign to take note is that you would want to make sure they give you a breakfast voucher per person per day as we had a hard time explaining to them that the recep only gave us one voucher per room per day.

Travelling to other areas were quite easy as we took metered taxi around. The hotel transport will try to rip you off but if you feel its reasonable, then the hotel transport would be a safer choice.

Hotel has worn out..rooms are giving up.. walls are dirty, aircons dont work properly and are noisy, bathrooms are smelly, flooring is chipping off, the hotel vibe is very dull, walking through the lobby is a real dissapointment, breakfast quality is not up to the mark and refilling is slow. I had a chance to witness three deluxe rooms. Only factor that works for them is they offer big room at cheap prices. But i think i did a mistake by choosing this hotel. If i would have spend just a little more i would have got better hotels. You need to walk abt 2 kms to reach the beach. And this is definately not a resort as the name says because the hotel is very small.
