“Simple, Basic, Comfortable”
Reviewed 21 January 2013

Nice hotel, grounds are pleasant and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They knew who I was when I arrived at the hotel and remembered my name all week. Room was quite outdated and very basic, not dirty but there was quite a lot of grime in the bathroom. Hotel claimed to spray for bugs, but that didnt stop me getting eaten alive by mosquitos. But hey it's the tropics. Saw one little gecko in my room but it didn't bother me.
Had a "Deluxe Room" which had two beds even though I was staying by myself. None the less the bed was extremely comfortable.
The Spa is excellent, well priced, comfortable and professional. The food was average but very cheap so can't complain. Pool and swim up bar were great.

Staff are so helpful and always smiling you couldnt ask for more. Room was basic but clean and i saw no creepy crawlies through my entire 10 day stay. New Years party was great and staff went to real effort to decorate the complex and prepare for a big celebration. Central location is great, really quiet considering its minutes walk from Kuta Square. Pool is great, loungers are always available as are towels which is another plus. Breakfast was great and again, staff were very helpful. Spa treatments were great and reasonably priced. My friends stayed nearby so it was easy to walk between hotels. The gardens in the complex were beautifully kept. Only down sideof tripwas traffic. Id stay here again if only to see the smiling faces every morning..

Our room was a little outdated - but really you basically only sleep and shower in there and our room was extremely clean and thats the purpose- I didn't get bitten at all by mozzies and I am normally the only one that does get bitten.. It was my husbands first time to Bali and he absolutely loved it. We will be going back and next time with our kids and parents.

The Satay Beef and chicken are one of the best in Bali and breakfasts were excellent as well.

We stayed for 1 night after extending our trip by a night. Our friends stayed here and we were travelling back and forth so we thought why not. The location is fantastic, but because we booked through Agoda, I think we got one of the old and run down rooms. It wasn't very clean and the mozzies were out in full force! Our friends had renovated rooms, which were much cleaner and nicer. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

Hotel is about 15 min walk to Kuta Beach or Legian Street so very convenient. Pool and pool bar are great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room needed work but was comfortable. Bath small but that's not unusual in Asia.
Omlettes for breakfast are great. Food is generally good BUT the "sirloin" steak I had was so tough it was difficult to cut even with a steak knife.
For the price the hotel is good value for money. However, if you book sufficiently in advance you can better hotels for the same price.

Room Tip: Near the pool are the best rooms.

We had a family wedding in Bali so there was 16 of us stayed here for 11 nights. For the price I don't think you would get any better. Rooms weren't luxury, need a refurbish and could of been cleaner, but everything else was just great. Pool and swim up bar - wonderful, breakfast - great, staff - friendly and helpful, location - just the best.

Room Tip: We were down the back so we had hardly any noise.

We stayed for 6 nights at kuta beach club and it was good without being great. If you are looking for somewhere with a great location and nice pool with swimup bar without breaking the bank, then this is perfect.

The room was nice, but there was no way to book a double room specifically, we got "double or twin" and of course, we were given a twin. When we asked at the front desk they said hotel was full, sorry. Not a huge problem and the staff were genuinely apologetic, but we probably wouldn't have stayed if we knew we couldn't get a double room.

The bathroom was disappointing. It was very small, the shower (in a bathtub) was very low pressure and temperature was sporadic. There was barely enough pressure to get any of the oil off after getting a massage.

The pool was great, except for the people who would reserve sunbeds with their towels from 7am all day to only spend about 1 hour at the pool. Very annoying when we only wanted to spend 45 mins down there, but couldn't use any of the 15 empty, but towelled sunbeds. The staff at the swimup bar were excellent and very friendly.

The breakfast was nice, but a bit different to a western buffet breakfast. The made to order omelettes were great though.

Highly recommend the spa for a massage. There are probably cheaper places outside the hotel, but the 1hr full body was fantastic.
