“Excellent Hotel”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

This was an excellent hotel for the price paid. The staff were very friendly and prompt. The rooms were good. Yes they are a bit musty due to the humidity but buy a can of fragrance spray and that will do the trick. The breakfast is very good. A good variety of hot food, bacon , eggs, rice, noodles, fruits etc. plenty of choices. Suggest a 1 hour massage at the hotel spa. $15 is all you pay for a super massage. The pool is superb! Very well maintained, pool bar is great and towel boy is always ready for you to offer sunscreen, towels etc. Overall i recommend this as a good quality place to stay. Finally the location is excellent. Just a few metres from Kuta's main shopping precinct

Room Tip: If you are upstairs suggest a move downstairs as the rooms are much cooler! They moved us without he...

Spent the week before Xmas, two families of four, requiring four rooms. After many stays in bali we found the accommodation clean and comfortable. The surroundings and amenities were well up to standard. The hotel is centrally located making it very accessible to shopping, eateries, taxis, beaches and money changers. The staff were friendly, honest and very reliable attending to all our needs promptly. Considering all the bad reviews we've read, us, as regulars, and the other family as first timers, were very happy with our stay here and sad to leave. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay to experience the friendliness and hospitality of bali and its people.

Room Tip: Choose a room on ground floor. Better set out, seem larger than rooms on upper level

This is a place right next to Ramayana, which was full for Christmas, so I booked here. It is a good distance from the beach, and has a sweet pool with a bar, you can drink beer while you swim, or order food and eat while your still in the pool which is the coolest part.

The scenery is nice, but when we booked it said there was wifi, but there was none actually in the rooms, just at the lobby which is far away, a real pain since we work on the computer..

Also, they gave us meal discounts but they said we had to pay cash to use them so we either had to go to the atm after our food was served or put the bill on our room and not be able to use them which is a little stupid...

When we left we asked the person to get a taxi for us, which all hotels do no problem. Here, we saw a couple go by and they said all full. Then someone came up and said they would take us there, he worked at the hotel, and quoted us a price 10x more than the taxi meter. So I walked to the road and within 1 minute I got a taxi.

The rooms were just ok. Bigger, but old.

Room Tip: If you need wifi, get something closer to the lobby or restaurant.

Really enjoyed staying at the Kuta Beach Club , very simple but clean amenities, beautiful grounds and layout. Staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly, daily breakfast was great but the best feature was the location. Close to everything! Walking distance to the shopping district, the beach & markets as well as the esplanade. Very short distance in taxi to surrounding areas. Highly Recommend.

Room Tip: Ground level room up the back end of grounds were great as they were very quiet being away from the...

Enjoyed my stay at Kuta Beach Club - close to the beach, Matahari Supermarket and department store around the corner plus Jalan Kartika Plaza with its Restaurants and the Discovery Mall, Waterbomb park. Nice gardens and ok pool with swimup bar. Hotel has a shop where u can buy a six or seven litre bottle of cleo water for 25,000 rupiah for your room and they rent and set up a dvd player in your room for 5 bucks a night to watch your cheap bali dvds. Restaurant food wasn't that great, but heaps of options down Kartika Plaza, my room rate included breakfast of bacon, eggs, fried rice, toast, baked beans, fruit, tea and coffee... Bit of noise from the pool during the day- but I snore and no one complained lol.. Was safe and had a security presence. Enjoyed my stay - good for a cheap stay near the beach and a western style supermarket, plus safe surroundings.

We stayed only one night, it was a transit trip. The hotel is well located, near to the beach, Matahari shopping, Kuta square. It is a spacious hotel and it seems that there are better rooms. Our rooms (two rooms interconnecting) were big, good beds and shower. Everything is a little old, but there was a notice of refurbishing the whole hotel until Dec 13, it seems they did not reach our room yet. The outside part is very nice, good swimming pools, many sunbeds, nice space near the breakfast, good variety of food. I believe that after the renovations I would be able to recommend the hotel.

Room Tip: upgrade rooms might be better
