“Perfect!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 August 2011

This is the second time I stayed in Kuta Paradiso Hotel. The first one was in year 2003. So far, I could not find any flaws of the hotel that can make me upset and lower my review about this hotel. It has everything I need and I expect from a 5 star hotel.

It has a very high ceiling lobby, spacious lobby with some Kecak dancer statues sit down and making a circle expressing what Kecak dance is, located in the center of the lobby. Nice interior. The restaurant serves a complete breakfast that all the meals are great, fresh, and delicious. The swimming pool is beautifully designed with flowers here and there and at night the view of the swimming pool with all the decorating lights is very fabulous. There are two ponds which contains a lot of big Koi fish. I love to see them swimming back and forth and they are really huge in size. Half of the ponds goes under the terrace of the hotel restaurant covering with a thick glass floor. It makes my children are very happy to feed them whenever we cross the ponds or have the breakfast. Lucky us that the staffs allow the children to do so.

In the room, everything is perfect, white clean bed linen, complete amenities, two options of taking a bath: with a standing shower or using the bathtub. It also has a superb view facing to the swimming pool, no smell of cigarettes and many TV channels,mmmm.....whatelse? It's just perfect. Nothing that can let me down at all. Maybe these are the reasons why I chose to stay at this hotel two times.

On top of these, the location of the hotel is superb! It is near to the Kuta beach (just stroll down a few minutes), and near to the centre. Not far from the hotel, maybe around 100 m, there is a Bali Waterboom Park where the kids can have a joyful time there. The hotel is also near to a Catholic church where I joined the Holy Mass. Not to worry about buying snacks and everything because there are several seven eleven mini mart along the street where Kuta Paradiso located. Also, a lot of restaurants are there, offering western, Asian, Balinese food and so on. Just choose whatever you like to eat overthere.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this hotel. I surely recommend this hotel to anybody who like to stay in Kuta, Bali.

When we arrived at the Kuta Paradiso we were greeted by LOVELY staff although did have to wait a couple of hours until our rooms were ready.

The room had just been updated and overlooked the pool & also had an excellent aircon - which is what you want in Bali! The pool is beautiful. The gym is a little 'under-furnished' if you're planning to do a full work out though.

The variety for Breakfast was amazing, everything you could possibly think of. The Japanese resteraunt was good, a little pricey though.

We always locked our suitcases when we went out during the day & kept valuables in the safe which I would highly recommend.

We probly wont stay there again because Kuta is a little too crazy for us! We could hear music and people until all hours of the morning.
Overall it was a great place to stay & I would recommend staying there if you want to be in the heart of the action.

Room Tip: Request a room with a balcony & pool view.

Stayed here on the 26th July 2011. When booking I was quoted US $408 for 1 1/2 nights. On checking in I was told that their rate was 9000 IDR per $1 US. This equated to $419 Australian which is a bit more than the $408 US quoted . This is the only place in Bali that does this practice and on explaining this to the check in staff they were not very helpful and actually had a 'I couldn't really care less' look on their face. US citizens would love this place as their dollar is worth more here than anywhere else. Was amazing to see security staff hovering around to try and intimidate me whilst the discussion was going on. Rooms are OK. Location is good, but will stay elsewhere in future. My son also got sick from the pool water and on reflection I remember seeing this film of gunk on top of the water which probably equated to fat, oil, bodily fluids mixed with human skin cells all floating together.

i stayed here with a friend for 4 days in july 2011 and was not too impressed. i have to say that the location is great as it's near the beach as well as the entertainment areas. the rooms however were very much average and definately need to be renovated if they want to justify the stars !!! the breakfast spread was average too and repetative. the staff was friendly and helpful though.
we moved to another hotel in nusa dua area after my wife joined me in 4 days and that choice was brilliant ... but then that's another review ! :)
PS: occassional mosquitoes in the room ...

Room Tip: if you have to stay here atleast avoid the ground floor rooms as thats where i was ... hopefully th...

Having stayed at the Kuta Paradiso many years ago this hotel is definately one to give it a miss. There are renovations going on next to the pool and also next to the main restaurant. Although the restaurant staff are friendly, check in staff are unhelpful. The rooms are very dated and there is a problem with sewerage, we were unable to have a bath due to the smell of sewerage coming up through the bath drain. For a much nicer hotel try the kumala pantai, right on the beach at legian.
