We stayed here Decemder 2013 and booked studio rooms. Checked them out and immediately ask to change. We were given 101 and 102 deluxe. 101 was very musty and the outdoor bathroom leaked and floor was slippery! Deluxe rooms 106 and 107 were much better!
The staff were great and helpful. No buffet breakfast is available despite amazing set up. So we ordered from menu.
Pool area beautiful and lounges good while we were there but if resort were full I think more would be needed!
All up, the resort needs some work!

Room Tip: Go for 107 and 106 if booking deluxe!

On first arrriving the gounds, pool & surrounds and dining area are very pleasant, spacious and clean.
Declining the first 2 rooms I asked to view due to the lack of cleanliness, broken light fittings, holes in walls, & mouldy smell, I accepted room 206, everything worked, a few broken tiles in bathroom, but for the price I was happy. Linen was clean & a lovely smell, serviced every day. The rooms are very spacious. Breakfast was great, pool was exceptional. Just be careful when the tilles around pool are wet especially after rain (very slippery).
Ground floor rooms are much better, & I would stay again & request one of these rooms.
Staff were lovely, very helpful & easy to talk too.
It would be lovely to see the owners of the JeJe Resort do a make over/renovations as this place is so central to everything in Legian & it still has that balinese feel.
So many new places being built & the old Bali feel is slowly being gobbled up.
I met some wonderful people staying there from Sydney & Melbourne (downstairs rooms) who always book in at the JeJe, so it's really up to you and your expectations.

Room Tip: Request downstairs rooms.

I guess you cannot expect much for such a low price. The garden, pool and breakfast were great. I had one of the cheap rooms on the top floor. Light shades by the bed broken, light fittings in the ceiling missing. Holes in the ceiling and walls. Badly in need of a paint. The bathroom was disgusting, like another reviewer I purchased cleaning products and cleaned the shower floor. The shower did not drain properly. There were broken tiles on the floors. The bathroom needs to be gutted and refitted. My sister went with her kids, the first room had a leak from the bathroom ceiling which resulted in the tiles being slippery, my sister slipped over and badly bruised her back and arm. She was moved to another room. In the new room the windows did not shut. Room number three ended up with a leaky toilet cistern the day before we left. The laneway next door is extremely noisy it is a minor thoroughfare to Legian St, don't go there without ear plugs. But the staff were great especially Wayan.

Room Tip: I don't know if there are any good rooms. But you don't go to Bali to stay in your room.

I spent a night in the Je-Je Resort (Booked through Agoda) in January. I was pleasantly surprised when on arrival, recpetion took one look and said "You must be Al". I was shown to my room by a young porter who struggled with my 23Kg bag. My room overlooked the pool and the outlook was very pleasant. Sadly, that's where it ended. The room was really a struggling 1.5 star standard. The bathroom was a mess of decaying plaster, broken tiles, missing tiles. Of about 7 lights, two worked. The airconditioner struggled to maintain a cool temperature. Road noise through the night was a problem. I was only there for one night so it really didn't matter. In terms af value for money, it was ok just for a place to bed down on route to somewhere else. I'd probably stay there again but only for a night. It's great value for money. Oh I should say the staff are really great and the dining area superb.

Room Tip: Perhaps check your room first and if not happy ask if there is a better one available.

The rooms really need a huge renovation. The are lots of stains and scratches on the walls, there are holes in the ceiling, small window in bathroom was covered with plastic instead of glass, the lamps didn't have lamp-shades and consisted of only an electric bulb on a stick. Floor tiles broken.
And if you think that's only in the cheepest room type - you are wrong. The second day I was moved to delux room but it didn't look much newer, although there were a little less stains on the walls =)
They have wi-fi only in the restaurant and it is rather slow and sometimes goes off.
Moreover, I booked this hotel in Agoda and there was given wrong information about internet. It was said that they do have free LAN access in the rooms! But when I arrived it turned out they have no internet in the rooms at all. So don't trust the descriptions, the hotel management cheats.

The only good thing about this hotel is the restaurant - food is nice and the staff polite, but this doesn't make things better.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. There are many more hotels with much better rooms and facilities at same price around.

Staying at Jeje's is dirt cheap ! Payed $400 AUD for 8 nights, in the best room, this was including breakfast. The location is awesome, short walk to anywhere ! Across the road if you go through the dingy looking bush block it is a short cut straight to the beach. Jeje's is not designed for anyone fancy. The room was dirty, especially the fridge & the bathroom. We bought our own cleaning products down the road, for something insane like $1.50 AUD & just cleaned up a little. The pool was awesome, always clean. The restaurant was also good value, but quite small serves, which was awesome for me, but not for my boyfriend. The staff were incredibly friendly. Small plasma screen in the room with a huge range of channels. No safe, but had no problems with the trustworthy staff :)
