“MOST DISCUSTING PLACE KEEP AWAY!!!!!!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 November 2013 via mobile

Booked 1 night stay, thankfully only 1 night, standard room was worse than a hostel standard in Asia, don't understand how it has "ok" reviews. We had to change rooms as it was infested with Mosquitos and lizards, at 10pm had to pack our stuff and move room hw I we was upgraded to a superior room (if you call it that) balcony isn't private it was joint with 1 other, all balconies can be accessed by the gap joining, the bathroom was rank, stinky, the doors including balcony and front door don't even close properly, nor lock correctly and safely. The door in the first room which could be accessed by anyone as it had holes and huge gaps, you could even see into the room from outside. The bed was nearly at collapsing point, huge giveaways giving repellant spray that theirs a big problem, staff didn't help change room just watched us walk up 3 flights of stairs with our luggage, you can't use tap water to brush your teeth so water is provided AT A CHARGE, breakfast is totally poor, horrible nobody was even enjoying it, the hotel is FULL of older (look 40+) us being 21 felt too uncomfortable and made my partner in the pool feel very uncomfortable in a bikini! No wifi, charges a fortune, and after paying for your essentials you maze well book a 3star hotel. Staying in Harper hotel, and bliss surfer hotel is so much value and quality for your money for a few pounds extra. Stay away, honestly worst hotel of my life, oh and if you stay, don't being any valuables the site states it has a safe, it is in reception, you'll probably just about fit your mobile in it!!!

Ida Hotel, what can I say, you are amazing. Second time at your hotel and will be back again without a doubt. From the moment when you step foot into the reception to check in you feel welcome, the rooms are simple but beautifully neat - after all you are in Bali. The rooms are cleaned to perfection during your stay and the people that work in the restaurant are amazing! Breakfast has a range of choices and you overlook the pool while you eat. The grounds of the hotel are immaculately kept and the pool has crystal clear blue water all the time. This hotel still has a sense of fun, you can still dive in and have swimming races and not get told off. The food and drinks are well priced and the hotel is just around the corner from Kuta Beach, Matahari, Kuta Square and many other necessities you need but in its own little secluded area so there is absolutely no noise from the street. This hotel is ideal for anyone, from anywhere, on any budget. There are all types of rooms and I'm sure anyone will find something at the Ida Hotel that suits their needs. Amazing hotel, amazing staff. Home away from home - without the price tag! Thank you Ida Hotel, see you again next year!

we stayed at the Ida Hotel from the 26th May till the 18th June we where a group of 12 with kids we had a bungalow with 2 king beds and outside bathroom it was great had a few minor blackout probs but was fixed , my daughter was in a standard bungalow with a baby mossies weren't nice to the bub so they got upgraded for free into the hotel section they loved it with new and modern equipment lol the other group had a bungalow the a king bed and a roll away and the other room was a standard room , yes you are out the back where its peaceful and is a little walk to pool but our little boys thought the fountain out the front of our rooms was good enough to swim in most day if we didn't go up to the pool area. lol. We loved the restaurant and the staff just couldn't fault the hotel and we have stayed in many different ones over the years but to find this little treasure was just awesome close to Matahari to buy your munchies and we used the warungs just out the laneway for coke they cheaper than Matahari, we used the guys out the front for trips, Kids loved the fact that the pool was in the sun all day which sometimes they swam from 9am till 3pm if they weren t in the fountain loved breakfast and any meal I had at restaurant kids did the mini chef days and some adults did the adult cooking class, massages great, just so well maintained so clean, will be going back again once we have saved up enough money but looks like an extra 2 adults and 4 kids are coming with us next time .so thank you Ida Hotel and your Staff you deserve a big pat on the back as my little boy said IT WAS AN AWESOME HOTEL .see you in about 2years.once again great place the only downside for us was the beds where so hard with a bad back I had to get massages every day to keep me going but still was great.

Our family of 5 stayed at the Ida for 2 nights in a Deluxe Family Room. We loved this little hotel in the middle of Kuta - it was very quiet, clean and friendly service. Easy walking distance to everything you need.
Breakfast was very nice and good variety. Eggs and pancakes cooked to order.
The pool area is very nice and large and can also have a pampering session next to the pool - I had a massage and it was wonderful.
Our room had 2 large queen beds and an outdoor bathroom. The room was very clean and comfortable. In a traditional style with wood carvings and gorgeous little doors we loved these rooms. We were set at the back of the hotel which was nice and quiet.
Great stay and great value for money - would definitely stay again!

Room Tip: Rooms set at the back of the hotel - away from the pool - are very quiet and private.

We stayed at the Ida for 2 and a half weeks, our third visit to Bali and the Ida is our home away from home... A quiet sanctuary in the middle of crazy Kuta... We've been 3 times there and it's a great place, safe, the staff look after you and are so willing to help. Gusty had some good contacts, specially Wira for amazing tours... They respect your privacy and get to know you so you so u can have a great holiday.. Cocktails are cheap and strong and their staff are simply awesome:.. In our last visit we had little kids and an elderly and their people were amazing!! It's safe, security will not let anyone in unless they have something to do with their gueSts and they will get to know you quickly!! Love it and will be back to them whenever we go to Kuta!!! My kids just LOVE. Their pool and its within walking distance Of everything !! Their Superior rooms are just GREAT!! Highly recommend !!

As a single traveler I was booked into the "super de luxe hut" which I really loved, found out I was the lucky one as people were moving out because they had to share their accommodation with rodents (they even nibbled on their soap), the pool was pleasant, the breakfast ok, I found the meals very good until I found thick black hairs on my plate, I was overcharged several times until I paid for every single order.
Some staff was helpful and some just wasn't, I would not stay there again

Room Tip: As a single traveller I had no choice and had to book the Super De Luxe hut which was really nice b...
