This was our second visit to the Ida Hotel and once again we stayed 28th Dec13 -5th Jan 14

We were once again warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. And the bar staff come running into the car park to greet us and carry our bag.

We were able to book into our room at 12 noon rather than the normal 2pm check in.Free drink vourcher on arrival went down well.

On our first night we decided to eat in the hotel. The food was fantastic and is equal to the quality found at many eateries in Kuta.Service was very fast and was bought to our room by Jero our good friend from the restraunt. We got big hugs from her.

Breakfast has improved with the adding of pancakes to the menu.Breakfast is very filling and they do cater for every one.Bacon, eggs, cornflakes, fruit, pasteries, crosaints, tea, coffee, juice, pancakes, toast, frien rice, tomatoe and noodles.

Our room was extreamly clean and tidy. The rooms were cleaned daily by the friendly staff.

The grounds are very tidy and the gardner was always busy sweeping up and cleaning the grounds. The pool once again was spotless and there were only 3 or 4 children that swam in it.We used the cold water spa.....AMAZING

The staff at the Ida are the most friendliest Ive come across in my 15 years of travel to bali. Most of the staff have become great friends (Bali Family as we call them)

We had plenty of water to clean our teeth as each room gets a bottle per person each day.The Hotel even supplied each room with mozzie/fly spray.

Im a firm believer that the hotel you choose and its staff make your holiday and I will never stay any were else in bali other than the Ida Hotel its the best traditional balinese hotel in bali

We will be back

Room Tip: You can buy a kettle from the supermarket for $2.90 Australia

I was staying in Ida hotel from 30 Nov to 2 Dec 2013 with my family and my little one. The hotel do not provide any kettle in the room in case you need some hot drink. My little one need hot water to make baby food and I approached the staff on 1 Dec night at the cafe for some hot water. Surprisingly, the staff ( middle age or early 50 male staff) at the cafe refused to give initially. After much conversation and he gave it unwillingly.

On the next morning I met the same staff again at the cafe for our breakfast. I have showed him the meal ticket and he didn't say anything. My father-in-law was walking a few steps behind me but he asked him which room he from very disrespectfully.

During the breakfast, he only greeted the European (loud and clear) and try to strike an conversation with them, but not the people of Asian like us. That make me feel like walk off the hotel immediately.

Never stayed this far from the action but given it was schoolies we stayed here. Nice hotel got upgraded for free as hotel was over booked. Paid $26.00 a night not bad id say. Aircon was icy cold, no free wifi. Remember to log out to save your wifi hours. Drinks nice food nothing flash. Buffet breakfast very basic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Must give big shout out to the theme night they have on Thursday nights Indonesian night although we didn't eat the meal just had a few drinks and listened to the band. The band was the best I have heard in Bali and I have heard a few. Sat and listened to them for hours. Cot was given to us free of charge which was a bonus. Good hotel for price best for couples and younger travellers not a lot of room for big families

Nice clean rooms and the food was average. The wifi isn't free. Breakfast buffet was ok. Pool is small. This is a great budget hotel for families. Location is walking distance to shopping areas around. But a little hidden from main roads so taxi drivers might not know the hotel well.

Very good service great staff and central to pretty much everything. Yet the hotel is in the end of dead end lane so is quiet and secluded spot.At the hotel lounging around the pool or bar you could easily belief you were at a village. The rooms are clean and decently sized all are air conditioned there are two types a standard and superior. At the time I was there they were upgrading a few rooms at a time, lots of people I met there seem to come back again and again what more can I say.
